Bounty tournament decision (30/1000 left)
Hi all,
I keep thinking about this hand I played and was curious of some opinions.
Will try to express the $ amounts in buy ins.
Omaha bounty tournament on GG, aprox. 1000 entries, 120 got paid, down to the last 30. I am 10th in Chips.
Current payout: 2.4 buy ins, next payjump (place 22) 3 buy ins. My current position would pay 5.3 buyins assuming I finish 10th.
Prize pool is evenly distributed between bounties and normal prizes, so there is a lot to be made from bounties.
A very aggresive guy to my right has more chips than the whole table combined, two more that I cover and and one guy sitting out since half an hour down to 1 bb and all in the hand in question.
UTG (20bb) raises to 2.5bb, fold, aggro table chief calls (prob 90bb), I (30bb) am in the SB with ATT9ds in clubs and spades. BB is all in with 1bb.
I elect just to call, as UTG could have a big hand, and probably the aggro guy is also not going anywhere.
Flop (ca. 9.5bb):
J93r (one spade)
I check, UTG bets half pot, aggro guy folds and it is on me again.
UTG has approx. 11bb left, so SPR would be 0.5 if I call.
The interesting part: UTG has a huge bounty on his head - almost 5 buy ins. While BB has almost 1 buy in. So if I win, I get more from this hand than the normal prize for finishing 10th, plus I am on course to go even deeper. If I lose however, I still have 10bb left, but I would drop in the lower spots.
Now, of course I do not have much. This would be a clear fold in any other scenario.
I elect to call to see a turn, due to my backdoors.
Turn (19bb):
Q, no flush draw
I jam, as I am blocking the straight and have a open ender, and the 9. Against random AA or KK i am not in bad shape, especially at this point with low SPR.
Spoiler
UTG calls, he has JJ and holds after the river is a 9
Given the bounties, was this correct or still a fold? The bounties are indeed a lot compared to the payjump, but losing the hand limits me from winning any other bounties.
Appreciate any thoughts!

I understand the desire to go for the huge double bounties and would 100% call pre. On this flop I probably just let it go, we have limited equity, poor visibility and lots of reverse implied odds.
Utg having a huge bounty on his head (and being utg) means he has to play very tight.
