FLO8 beginner hand histories (KKA5 flopped set, A345 short-handed)

I'm a total beginner at FLO8 (played a lot of low-mid stakes NLHE and some lowish-stakes LHE very occasionally), so still trying to learn what should be obvious concepts. Don't see many recent FLO8 posts here; hope this is the right forum.

Both hands below are from live 8/16 O8 with half-kill.

Hand #1: I post $8 in CO; BB and UTG seem like new-ish players.
Preflop: 2 limps; I check my option with KKA5 w/ suited ace, BB checks.
Flop ($30): KQThh. BB checks, UTG limper bets $8, second limper folds, I call, BB calls.
Turn ($54): offsuit Q. BB checks, UTG bets $16, I raise to $32, BB folds, UTG calls.
River ($118): offsuit 6. UTG bets $16, I raise to $32, UTG calls.

Preflop: Seems like a marginal multi-way hand, I assume no raise - in general, should I overlimp this?
Flop: Does not seem like a great flop to play this too aggressively; I can easily be beat or often outdrawn. Thought I could get more value getting BB to come along with some random pair and raising on a safe turn.
Turn: Pretty good turn to get extra value; could also call to let BB stay in drawing dead but they may fold some mediocre hands.
River: Straightforward.

Hand #2: Ad3d45 in SB, BTN casual player posts $12 kill.
Preflop: Folds to me in SB; I call, BB calls, BTN checks.
Flop ($30): KQ5 w/ one diamond. I bet $12, only BTN calls.
Turn ($54): 6 of spades bringing backdoor flush draw that I don't have. I check, BTN checks.
River ($54): 6. I check, BTN checks.

Preflop: I would probably limp this in EP trying to go multiway, but I'm not getting a good price and we're short-handed here, so perhaps I should raise with most (or all) of my range?
Flop: Seems like I have enough hand + backdoor potential to take a stab; I have a decent amount of broadway hands that hit this board.
Turn: Think I could have bet with my 2-way hand (2nd nut low draw + OESD); didn't like my dummy-end OESD and not having the flush draw, but maybe that doesn't matter much as BTN should be pretty wide?
River: Didn't think I would get many folds after playing the hand this way.

h1 iso pre, hand is good enough

Both hands are clear raises preflop in these situations.

Hand 2 flop bet doesn't make a ton of sense if you are going to check one of the better turns for your hand.

Raise hand 1. Lead flop as played
Raise hand 2. Bet flop, bet turn, decide river. Can turn this into a bluff vs JT better pair hands but prob the standard play is to check.

Hand 1: raise pre, rest is fine
if UTG wasn't new i'd mix in some calls and not pure raise on turn

Hand 2:
I'm ok with pre, but flop is a check.

If you are playing where I think you might be playing....

H1: I like pf, I check the turn because you aren't going to get the cold call behind often and you have close to lock w/ no low possible, you want more people in (atleast in the 8/16 I play).
H2: I like a raise pre, and you are rarely winning any part of that hand after that flop against most player pools, A2 is floating you many times.

I play in a very loose 8/16, shrug
