I dont like limp/r pre. I prefer to iso the limp moar. as played u might be dead so fold now.

Meant villains unknown sorry.

No worries. What i wanna add is the hand maybe is a rank 3 in PPT, but against a random A2 you are 55:45 fav, so you arent pushing that much equity preflop with limp/raise so it is kind of overplay.

Well, I think I at least slightly disagree with hazel. I think pre is fine, now stack off. Not a great spot though and neither pre or post is a huge deal.

Seems like getting half their stack in as favorite, while taking a hand that’s hard to play and instead making it much easier to play is ideal?

I'm guessing this is close to an automatic/mandatory call mathematically, and think Hero should call.

I probably shrug call. Pre is fine.

This seems like a terrible flop for hero, and a very good chance he's drawing nearly dead. What am I missing?

Pot odds

Preflop seems really good. Have to call 30% pot pushes. There is some possibility you are ahead for either or chopping for the low. They could both have flushes or both have nut lows and you are good for one side. Even if you are way behind for both, a 3 gives you a wheel, which should at least be good for 1/4 pot. There is some possibility you could fill up and beat a flush and you have much better chances of pulling ahead of 2-pair.

Hero folds and gets shown A258J and KKTT7hh

Ouch. I take it at least your low would have held? I hope you didn't go runner/runner full 😉

Yeah, awful fold.

Had you previously known villains were both terrible?

Villains are also getting really good pot odds to get the rest of the money in. Obviously, KKTT7 should have folded preflop somewhere. Once you get that much in with the limpreraise, then you pretty much have to go with it. Could have been a worse flop in that a 2 hitting is good for A4.

The limpreraise is probably good. However, this is not the greatest AA hand. You only have A48 for low. The 8 is obviously a really bad card. Part of the problem is that with this hand, a lot of the flops won't look that good for your hand.

Even I knew that from just reading the hand histories he has posted. Not that it matters that much.
