PLO8 MTT - Trips Facing Turn C/R BvB Late
$11 PLO8 1r1a 6-max on Global
4-handed, 14 left, top 4 pay
SB (Villain) - 102bb
BB (Hero) - 48bb
Villain is pretty loose and has gotten out of line a few times with suspect 2-way hands, but haven't played with them previous to this tournament. Villain is CL, I think I'm 3rd in chips.
Folds to SB who minR, Hero calls with A♠3♦J♥T♥
Pot 4bb
Flop K♥K♣A♥
SB checks, Hero bets 2bb, SB calls
Pot 8bb
Turn A♣
SB checks, Hero bets 4bb, SB check-raises to 20bb, Hero??
Seems way too tight to bet/fold here, though this is the perfect runout to play KKxx and AKxx just like this - but think he'll have some worse Axxxx hands as well. If we aren't folding, can we really call turn and call off on a non-heart/J/T/3 river, though? Are we seeing too much AQxx to call off here?

Pre fine.
Flop I think is a mistake, especially with the tournament situation. You don't need protection so just check, then you can call any turn and let him bluff.
I also think turn is a check - it's a great card for his range and a card bad for yours. Your hand is not awesome so I don't think betting accomplishes much. I think you kind of need to fold to a c/r unless you think he is doing it with any ace.
3 streets seems really ambitious.
I'm not betting that flop...
Follow Amok's paragraph 2 analysis and play pot control. Why? Your decisions will be soooo much easier. That check raise on the turn wasn't fun, was it?
