Big O Tournament - A few preflop spots

I am new to Big O and I am not sure what I should be doing in these spots

Hand 1 - 5 handed, late tournament we have 40BB effective, we open AKT42 (suited 42) OTB and we open to 3BB, BB squeezes to 12, Is this an easy shove or see a flop?

Hand 2 - 40ish BB effective, 7 handed, HJ opens to 3BB, CO raises to 9BB, We have AKK95ds in the sb. Is this a shove/get it in?

Readless, I'd probably call 1 and fold 2

Hand one, I call. You could get a small flush and a nut low on the river. You don't want to stack here. And plus, maybe you pump it up not HU... but yea..

Your Mom, said you should fold here. I am never folding. With 40 bbs, it's a real decision. We are talking MTTs. How many people are left? If you're pushing upwards before the money bubble, it's not just a call... it's a shove that shit.

These depend on the tournament situation. Other stack sizes, are we in the money?

Hand 2 seems like a fold unless you think you have a lot of FE. You get it in with this hand close to a flip and you bust out of double up. Usually, not a good thing to do with ICM. Hand 2 does not play that well postflop, and you cannot cold call the 3!.

We are in the money, final table. The tournament is a smallish tournament. I think there were only like 60 entries to begin with.

I would probably call with AKT42, as you can usually tell what is a good flop. The KK hand is an easy fold with a raise in 3! in front with ICM.

What is the minimum hand to 4 bet here? AKK2x ds? You are cold calling AKK3x ds?

I would need stack sizes, tournament situation, etc. However, allin equities run close in PLO8, and I wouldn't be crazy about gii due to ICM issues.

Without looking at replies I jam Hand 1 & fold Hand 2

See flop with Hand 1, easy muck with Hand 2
