Are you letting KK go here?
Played a few pots today vs this Villain, I made a bad bluff into him when he had ez call. He also lost 2 pots to me before this too. I think I've noticed that he goes crazy when he doesn't have SDV but I'm not exactly sure how he decides when to do it but the general hand classes he's doing it with is small pocket pairs and suited connectors mostly that miss or brick out w/e.
Who cold calls twice with Ax? I block one suited combo of AK and I don't really see this player doing that with a worse Ax like AQ even.
I couldn't figure out what sizing to use OTF and didn’t want to get raised. Checking down would be sweet lol. I sized up pre because deep but being undecided leaned towards a check and also driving this decision was having saw this player take weird bluff lines (I think he has some sizing tells). If he had an ace I think he small bets turn then shoves river tbh. His medium sizing tends to be a little bluffy i think. Going to look more into this. Either way, I thought if i checked and he had a PP or SC he might spew it off.
Curious what you guys think. Seems like a cop out to give him credit for Ax or a set/FH/quads here or just really lucky for him I guess...
I'll post results later

I definitely bet something on the flop. Probably 25BB and then evaluate from there. As played I fold to his Turn bet and definitely to his River bet. Sometimes you get bluffed but you can't look up all of them
I don't think bluffcatching readless for 150bb over 2 streets against a probably nitty fishy type is going to be good in general. I would guess the Kc isn't good to have either. It's also weird when someone plays this way preflop and then goes crazy postflop 200bb deep.
You still can have all AK and AA when you play this way and call down without a problem, so it isn't like KK is super strong.

I’ve played most of my hands here vs this guy, he’s MT most days and completely breakeven over a decent sample (slightly losing) so I wouldn’t say readless
But yeah he gets deep and gets spewy in this line (just miss a cbet), if you knew this would you be more likely to bluff catch this guy more often? Or I guess how wide should I bluff catch if I know this

If you're confident that he's bluffing enough for you to win the required % that you need, then you can call all bluffcatchers and not worry about it
Finally got my MDA for 4bet pots.
Snap call 😀
Cbet flop
Either fold turn or plan to call down.
I would fold ott. Not sure what he is bluffing with after cold callimg 3bet and calling 4bet.
Size otf? 25%?
It was obvious from your comments he didn't have it.
I don't even think cbetting flop is the highest EV line, people like to tell you to do something differently on earlier streets when they don't know what to do on the current street. I remember getting coached a few years ago and I made some unorthodox play and the coach literally told me "I don't play like that," Really!? That's your response.
Anyways, the main point is this. There is a fundamental difference in range composition between a Cold Call 3bet/Call 4bet and a PFR3bet/Call 4bet. The former is much wider and therefore needs to be played differently postflop. You see this all the time vs fish, they will limp cold call 3bets and be super wide (actually wider than raise/call 3bets). Now this guy might be somewhere between a fish and a bad reg but you still need to adjust.
So when you add how wide your opponent is + the line of X-B-B being overbluffed, it just becomes a slam dunk call down. Yes the Ace data point is bad but fish/bad regs suck at getting value. I wouldn't be surprised if he checked a hand like AJ either OTT/OTR.
Okay time for a break, nice call swerbs.
