I feel very nitty not betting the river small. He would probably call a Q and definitely a 9. I didn't want to get reraised with the full house though, which would represent a few hands as well. Am I being too nitty here?

Yeah pretty standard jam even if it was like 3x pot.


You definitely missed value here on the river. Someone I played with once told me “If you lose a small pot after flopping a set, you probably played it wrong.” That is not a hard and fast rule, but there is a lot of truth to it.


Raise - Bet - Jam line looks okay.

As played - bet on the river.
You shouldn't avoid value betting for fear of getting raised.
