200NL SB v BB 500BB pot - large river call with 1 pair?

200NL SB v BB 500BB pot - large river call with 1 pair?

Is this a call here blind v blind. I have no reads.

A lot of draws miss on the river obviously, but I would perfer not to have a J in my hand.

What do you do here on the river?

im folding flop but i dont play at your limit so...

Folding turn vs most regs, folding river even against pretty aggressive regs.

Call. The fact he is using a very good sizing scheme makes you more likely to call down not less.

River seems like 0 EV. Depends on the opponent most regs don't like to throw 250bb on a bluff esp when river bricks out like this, so i this is more of a fold.

This was my logic at the time. Sizing seemed more like a monster draw on the turn then AA or KK.

Result - I called and he was bluffing with K6!

Got me thinking about my own sizing in similar spots here.

Hypothetically, If I am in Villains spot with AA or KK here should I be overbetting turn and river?

Turn call seems fine thinking about it more.

Weirdly played by villain, the turn overbet merge IP is nice but you have to take your showdown on brick rivers.

Curious whether you'd call on a 2 river? Seems easier to find the bluff jams there (as long as they 3-bet offsuit trash) but maybe they have enough extra value.

Sizing is just based on SPR so in a typical 3bp at 100bb's you don't OB turn IP ever but once we start reaching higher SPR's we start using turn OB sizing.

Yes if you are in villain's spot you should be playing AA/KK like this.

If you look at MDA for this spot you know it's a clear call regardless of what a solver says.
