Postflop Strategy flopping three of a kind
Brand new player here (although I registered the account years ago). I had just sat down at the table and villain was 45/45 after 10 hands and seemed like an aggro rec player. Should I just call the re-raise Post Flop? I think jamming was incorrect because three 8s will be the best hand a majority of the time that I don't need to take the pot down right away.

I like raising when I flop a set on these types of boards for two reasons:
- 1. Villain might put you on a Flush or a straight draw
- 2. There are a lot of turn cards that could kill your action
I wouldn't lose any sleep over this one
I would just call; we are not doing that well on this board we only have 1 of the sets and only 3 combos of 2 pairs; also by calling we are more likely to keep the weak SB in. But it's kind of meh whatever both will be +EV I just think call will be slightly better
