25 NL Premium but ace on the board
Are you always calling turn after checking? Feels really exploitable if I'm folding every time I check back turn because of an ace being on the board. V has draws in his range, and could be bluffing with a ton of hands.
Alternatively, do you ever bet turn again, even with the ace there, and then shut it down on the river?
Feel like this is a common spot-- 3 bet, out of position with good pocket pair, but ace on the board. Trying to figure out how to navigate.

We generally want to go to 4x oop when we 3bet.
Ap I would call but I expect his range to be very equity driven so I'm probably folding a lot of rivers.
I would default to check calling this flop.

Are you range betting flop? As you shouldn't be? This hand can bet but will mainly check.
Hand is never a turn bet.
I would guess that on the turn call and fold are both zero ev in theory; so if your population of recs are very float and bluff heavy compared to theory then call otherwise fold; I would just fold no reads.
Also don't worry about being exploited by a rec
Yeh I was range betting, as I reflexively do when I am the preflop raiser and there is an Ace high flop and not too many draws. I suppose I should rethink this.
And TBF if your simplification is to range bet A high boards with no draws as pre flop raiser you are going to be making a fair few mistakes in common srp spots; have a look at some Sims button Vs BB and you will find that theory will be doing a lot more checking than you think
Will be frequency mistakes more than anything but against good regs you will be exploitable
3bet 4x preflop;
I will check this flop as 1) QQ has good SDV and is ahead of his a lot of range, which could be mixed into checking range 2) you will get called by any Ax and any auto-folding cards is actually behind of your hands, so the only boardway you're afraid is K; 3) The texture is very dry and I don't think villain has many draws in 3bet pot. 4) As discussed, OOP has a lot higher checking range than naturally assumed.
