villain is a bad player, regularly playing too many hands. Even though I'm OOP my hand strength and villain's lack of ability are good enough for a 3bet
casseta24 folds
Yaaay__ calls €0.55
*** Flop *** [Ks Js 2c]
berry_jammin bets €0.85
This flop hits my 3b range hard and I have a gutshot, I can semi-bluf cbet to either take it down here, if I'm called I have outs, if I'm raised I can easily fold
Yaaay__ calls €0.85
*** Turn *** [Ks Js 2c] [Tc]
berry_jammin bets €2.40
I hit the nuts and my opponent has already shown interest. It's likely he has a flush draw or a Jx or Kx, I need to bet here both for value and to protect the bluffs in my range. or is a check raise better?

Game #2101081384: Table €10 NL - 0.05/0.10 - No Limit Hold'Em - 18:55:15 2024/06/03

Dealt in Shady_
Dealt in Big_Gordo
*** Preflop ***
yryklas-2 folds
berry_jammin raises €0.30 to €0.30
I'm at a soft table and Hossana has not been playing good. I want to target him with more hands than I normally play, especially since there is not a lot of 3 betting going on
Shady_ folds
Big_Gordo folds
abraham123 folds
Hossana calls €0.20
*** Flop *** [Qh 9c 6s]
Hossana checks
berry_jammin bets €0.32
I I have nothing more than some backdoor draws but I can safely C-bet on this flop
Hossana calls €0.32
*** Turn *** [Qh 9c 6s] [Ac]
Hossana checks
berry_jammin bets €0.75
The A hits my range hard, I can still bet here especially as I pick up a lot of outs on this turn
Hossana calls €0.75
*** River *** [Qh 9c 6s] [Ac] [5h]
Hossana checks
berry_jammin bets €1.55
I bricked but villain has never shown a lot of interest in the hands, I can tripple barrel here Straight after the bet my reasoning changed : "I have removal to all his folds, I have the nut flash draw with a 7 for the straight draws. Villan can only fold if he has a Qx or 9x and is scared of the A . what is your opinion?

Could you find a way to convert your hands? This is hard to read.

H1 :

Totally standard 3bet preflop except if your opponent is a proven nit, but your sizing is too small. The GTO size is 1.2€ for what it's worth.

This flop you can range bet 1/3 pot with your whole SB-3bet range. You used a 1/2 pot bet... why not but if you use this size then I think you need to have a checking range (since you still have hands which missed completely like Ah9h and bluffing 1/2pot with those is costly). But honestly I am not too sure, anyway not a problem.

On the turn I just keep it simple and bet for value. They are going nowhere with hands like a flush draw, KQ, QJ, KT, and some of those hands they could check back.

H2 :

There is this idea missed flush draws do not make very good bluffs on the river since you would like your opponents to have missed flush draws which are auto-folds and by having the flush draw yourself you block your opponent (however I believe there are spots where this principle doesn't apply).

I think you cleared out his single 9's on the turn, mostly. I mean, unless they are really sticky but then I don't think you want to bluff the river.

They never fold an A, unless (mayyyybe) if you shove.

You beat JT!

I would check and beat JT 😀

H1:
I think the bet is better on the Turn. We still get value from Kx and Draw and can often go all-in on the river.
In the case of a check, we will not always get a bet from the opponent and the opportunity to check/raise, while giving him a free chance to see the river.

H2:
It's not a good runout and hand for bluffing on the river, especially against a weak opponent who can't fold TP.
