3b more ... 4b is to small.
If he bets the river it a small range... I'd have a tough time calling
Make your preflop 3-bets a bit larger, around 7-8bb.
With a bigger pot, folding on the Turn might be a good action. But given how the hand played out, I think calling the Turn and then reevaluating the River makes sense.
