Overpair in 4bet pot 150bb deep

Overpair in 4bet pot 150bb deep

Villain is 22/17 with a 3bet of 7.4% over 327 hands. So pretty standard looking. Sample size not big enough to know if that 3bet% is accurate but if it is, we can probably rule things like 76s and A4s out, or at least discount them a little. Especially HJ vs UTG. And this deep I can see him flatting the 4bet with most of his 3betting range, especially if he thinks he has an edge over me postflop.

So I guess by the time we get to the flop his range is something like TT+, AJs+, AKo, KQs, and maybe some of the suited connector or weak suited ace type hands.

What we thinking on this river? I can see an argument for all of check/fold, check/call, bet/fold and maybe even bet/call?? Although check/call and bet/fold seem like the best options to me.

PokerStars Zoom, Hold'em No Limit - $0.05/$0.10 - 6 players
Hand delivered by Pokeit

UTG (Hero): $14.84 (148 bb)
MP: $19.59 (196 bb)
CO: $10.10 (101 bb)
BU: $10.15 (102 bb)
SB: $9.77 (98 bb)
BB: $10.00 (100 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.15) Hero is UTG with Q Q
Hero raises to $0.25, MP 3-bets to $0.75, 4 players fold, Hero 4-bets to $2.05, MP calls $1.30

Flop: ($4.25) 6 3 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.03, MP calls $2.03

Turn: ($8.31) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks

River: ($8.31) 5 (2 players)
Hero ???????

You should probably be betting 3 streets here.

Im betting OTT always for noless then 1/2

150BB deep you are supposed to 4bet bigger (28BB according to GTOw)

Thanks for the responses guys. But why would we keep barrelling? To get value from exactly JJ and maybe TT? I think he has just as much AA and KK in his range as TT or JJ and I'm not even sure if TT and JJ are calling 3 streets.

I had a look over my hands and filtered for when I 3bet or 4bet pre and barrelled all 3 streets vs a reg and every time except once that I got called down they had 2 pair+. And it's not because I never bluff those spots, because I have taken that line with a bluff a few times with varying success.

Value/Protection from flush draws, straight draws, underpairs and pairs+draws... imo people at lower stakes under-slowplay (less AA or KK) and unlikely he has a set on this board.
And I didn't say anything about betting 3 streets I was talking about Turn in a vacuum.
If I bet OTT, river action depends a lot on a player reads and run-out.

Yeah 4bet is way too small if you do it. Problem is you would have a lot of work to get stacks in if you binked good board.

I wouldn’t 4bet tho
