Hero (UTG): 137 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A K

Hero raises to 3 BB, CO calls 3 BB, fold, fold, fold

Flop: (7.5 BB, 2 players) K 3 7
Hero bets 4.5 BB, CO calls 4.5 BB

Turn: (16.5 BB, 2 players) A
Hero checks, CO checks

River: (16.5 BB, 2 players) Q
Hero bets 22.5 BB, fold

Hero wins 15.5 BB

I don't know why I checked on the turn. Maybe my plan was to check raise, but few people will bluff raise on NL2, so whatever. I blocked ace flush draws, but there were still a few flush draws that would have called on the turn. In hindsight I would have preferred a turn bet, river overbet.

After a line like that, what would call are the KQ two pair and the JT straights (obviously the JT would raise).

I think a half-cash raise would call with any K. So the range for a half-cash raise is as follows:

After the overbet, only KQ and JT would remain in play.

I made a chart and according to it, I should have either increased 48 cents or the smaller sizing would have been better.

lol just say you were protecting your checking range on the turn and call it a day. Seriously though i would over bet my strong hands at 2nl

In generall i agree that you want to fastplay more in micros because population is to passive and is not turning enough hands into bluff etc.
But in this particular spot i realy dont like overbetting with this AK combo. The main hands that we target in the b b b line are Ax flushdraws that picked up a top pair on the turn.
But we block the Ax flushdraws (with AK no flushblocker i like b b b ). When blocking the ax flushdraws we hope that he will hero call down kx and this is very unlikley so we end up running into sets way to frequent when we go for overbet turn and shove/bet big river.
