Value or val-no: Do you jam this river?
'bluffy' note on villain, which means they're capable of taking shots in ok spots, although they're also tagged overall passive (yellow), which means they slowplay value too much. I size down OTT to jam any XR but maybe that's wrong.
But now we're at this river, do we go for the max? or go bait/thin again, or something in between?
Hero (BTN): 111.2 BB
SB: 255.4 BB
BB: 86.8 BB
UTG: 136.6 BB
MP: 100 BB
CO: 323 BB
SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB
Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 9♥ 9♣
fold, fold, CO raises to 2 BB, Hero raises to 9 BB, fold, fold, CO calls 7 BB
Flop: (19.4 BB, 2 players) J♦ 3♠ 9♠
CO checks, Hero bets 6.2 BB, CO calls 6.2 BB
Turn: (31.8 BB, 2 players) T♦
CO checks, Hero bets 16 BB, CO calls 16 BB
River: (63.8 BB, 2 players) 2♠
CO checks, Hero?

some contradiction in your logic there. if V is passive -> lower x/r % hence, size up OTT. would bet fold river.
Kind of.
'bluffy' for me means they will given chances overpush draw equity. Even if they are super trappy with the nuts. And passives can still be over overly aggressive with draws, it's just rarer ime.
That's kind of the connundrum of the hand. A mixed-signal player. I don't think I'm good enough to bet/fold.
Very close. I think probably we need to check river. Probably just jamming turn is the play tbh
Higher sets normally x/r somewhere. Straights x/r turn almost always. If he's fishy would normally donk jam flush otr. We have a pot sized bet left and his range is heavily weighted towards Jx, Tx, maybe 2 pair or QQ he didn't want to get in pre, jam it.
I think realistically JT is knly hand which will call here pure. I feel like people will get away from AJ/QQ most of the time. Villain still has straight, flushes and better sets. I really think it's a check back
