Bad River bet?
I decided to bet river to get value from specifically AJs and some of his non-believing KK.
In retrospect I'm kind of talking myself into thinking this is a really bad river bet.

I would just bet turn to get value from worse A's, heart draws, straight draws, etc... I don't expect to get jammed on and put in a tough spot very often.
As played on the turn your river bet seems OK, if they jam (or call with 2 pairs maybe) nice hand.
I agree, and, as played, would also have bet the river
Seems fine. Could bet slightly thinner on the river to secure calls vs KK/QQ/JJ/Tx (mybe ~15bb). And then fold to any decent size XR
