Isolate bigger preflop, like 4bb.
but since he was a calling station i guess he would have even called his shitty hand and got lucky in the river and win. what do you think?
I don't think we need to bluff against the calling station at all.
The main exploit against such opponents is to catch a strong hand and get 3 calls.
For a profitable bluff, at least we need the opponent to know about the existence of the Fold button.
PF fine. Like slyless said though, donÂ’t cbet light against stations. Wait for value hands and extract maximum value. You also should get in the habit of cbetting a lot less when multi-way. Your cbet here is basically a bluff; you whiffed this flop. Bluffing against multiple opponents is usually not a good idea. A low, dry disconnected flop favors the calling range of your opponents more than it does your opening range, so checking this flop is pretty clear. If you are going to stab when multi-way, a smaller sizing probably works better, especially with a flop texture like this one. A calling station is going to call a lot. When they do fold itÂ’s because they have nothing, no hand and no draw. It usually doesnÂ’t take a large sizing to get even a station to fold complete air. Think about if the station had something like 92 instead of 64. Even a station probably folds there, and your hand benefits from equity denial.
