Flop is key point, no reg will raise A-high flop and blast off with bluff, so calling just gives free cards for no reason. If you have a read that he is ultra tight maybe you can find a fold otf without that just 3bet flop.
Turn is probably pure call in theory, but in practice its not so nice because regs wont find random 5c6c bluffs.
A call is probably massively losing here in reality.
Yeah I think in future I will just assume nit until proven otherwise. I really wanted to fold flop but it just feels so sick. This is not poker, this is just a test of patience and discipline. People are so nitty post flop with raising just need to exploit by overfolding almost every spot. 2nl was waaay more interesting than this believe it or not.
Turn ($3.51): 4♦ 8♦ A♠ 9♦
HERO Checks, BTN Bets $3.27 (allin), HERO Calls $3.27 (Rem. Stack: $0.21)
River ($10.05): 4♦ 8♦ A♠ 9♦ 5♦
I’d fold turn yeah- maybe flop if they’re a bit nit but before this hand it would be hard to tell.
After seeing AK here I might reevaluate and fold to villain’s raises often- they’re probably far too passive.
Is 1/4 CB standard on this kind of flop?
