4b pot bluff accidental value but its crap spots
Clear x/f?
I'm trying to add in more 4b bluffs. I think trivial x/f vs a larger size, but seems expensive to get here and fold to this. x/c flop better play?
BTN: 225.8 BB
Hero (SB): 238.4 BB
BB: 127.8 BB
UTG: 51.8 BB
MP: 126.2 BB
CO: 81.6 BB
Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB
Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 5♣ A♣
fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BB raises to 9 BB, Hero raises to 25 BB, BB calls 16 BB
Flop: (50 BB, 2 players) 7♠ 5♥ 4♣
Hero bets 15.8 BB, BB calls 15.8 BB
Turn: (81.6 BB, 2 players) 8♥
Hero checks, BB bets 17.4 BB, hero?

yeah I think checking is better and calling a small bet.

I hate when this happens to me. I usually BLAST the turn and villain snaps with **** and then I will TILT SO HARD. OOP sucks bro!
edit: okay calm down Slash, calm down. Okay back to the hand. Hmm I really dont know what to do on the turn.
Pre is fine, Flop can go either way, turn same 😃
Turn fold would be criminal when villain has 4 outs against you so often, so the real lesson here is how you should play as IP
Yeah you are right turn is a call.
I think preflop is better as a call. You want to 4b better hands for value and slightly worse as bluffs so like A2s A3s. This hand is problematic in an inflated pot like this because its too middling bvb when ranges are wider than other positions
Is turn really a question? You are risking 17.4 to win 99bb - you only need 15% equity to break even. I understand you may not fully realize that equity, but even if you only call a river bet when an A or 5 hits, that’s 12% right there (assuming your 2 pair or trips are good). You only need another 3%. Even if we don’t improve we have a decent bluff catcher for the river; surely that gives us at least 3% additional equity, no?
Bluff catching river doesn't add any ev and outs are not clena because we are sometimes death already ott and some outs bring flsuh
Looks ok assuming you called turn. Of course you can x/c flop as well, but bet is totally fine as well.
