[MICRO] 10nl Flop over bet vs loose passive calling stations
Here is a hand i played friday at 10nl at bovada. Players I'm up against is probably a drunk sports better playing 87/5/1 over 250 hands, and the other guy is a probably slightly less drunk guy running 62/35/3 over 175.
.
I have been trying to work some flop overbets into my game slowly, with strong, but vulnerable hands that need alot of protection. What better time to try it out than against a drunk calling station? I normally am not 3 betting K9s in the blinds vs early opens, but at this table, multiple players were complete donks playing any 2 cards, so i figured i was probably good most the time.
Let me know what you guys think. I have a different style of play than alot of people, and I'm curious what you guys say about it.

Woah nice pot!
Dont know if it is right or wrong but I would only call K9s OOP here against people who cant fold anything. Too high reverse implied odds situation. IP I like squeezing this kind of a hand more.
If I would get a good hand I would squeeze bigger pre. Something around to 16-22bb

That's also something I'm working on, calling more pre. My preflop aggression is a little to high, i need to get more comfortable calling especially from OOP, I've always played very aggressively, and need to tone it down juuuuuuuust a little bit. Current stats are 26/20/9. Good tip about squeezing a little bigger, i ALWAYS 3x IP and 4x OOP, so i will start trying out going bigger with strong value hands. Im sure this is not exactly good GTO in theory, but i am fairly good at hand reading and exploiting my opponents playstyles, i feel like, and put him on a draw of some sort. When he didnt shove over me i knew he didnt hit a set and knew he was probably floating something, just by how he had been playing. Very face up, ABC

There is a nice article on upswing poker about squeezing. But yeah if there are fishy players around I might go even higher if I feel they will call. Against regs I try to keep my squeeze sizes the same with bad and good hands.

"How to Size Your Squeezes
The size of your squeeze should be slightly bigger if you will be out of position postflop and slightly smaller if you will be in position postflop.
If you will be in position, squeeze to the size of the pot minus 1 big blind. This will usually be around 4 to 4.5 times the initial raise size assuming exactly one caller, 5 to 5.5 times the initial raise size assuming exactly two callers, and so on.
If you will be out of position, squeeze to the size of the pot plus 1 big blind. This will usually be around 5 times the initial raise size assuming exactly one caller, 6 times the initial raise size assuming exactly two callers, and so on."

Right on man, really appreciate the advice and article to go over, i will start working this into my game immediately!
This is way too wide pre especially against recreationals who don’t fold.
As played I don’t mind it- turn is a bit too thin I’d draw the line at A9s here but to be honest I don’t ever have K9s here anyways so
