Thought Process Online Cash games
Hello. I've been playing poker 6max cash for a while now. learned some decent amount of theory about preflop ranges, and post flop play. What I struggle with is the thought process. given that online you have 18s approx to make a decision. I find myself most of the time making decisions based on intuition and my current Hand. This has led me to win some money and rank ITM in a couple of a tournament. but I legitimatly think I was just running good and that I'm a weak player.
what are some advices you can give to have a strucured thought process for each street?
Thanks

You train it to happen effortlessly by increasing knowledge and skills off table. Posting hands is very beneficial. You want to be playing always thinking 'will this play pass the scrutiny of better players'
Hey Avon,
If you’re struggling with time, reduce the number of tables. Focus on quality decision-making over volume.
Practice Hand Review. Use tools like PokerTracker, Hand2Note, etc to analyze your hands after each session. Identify where your thought process broke down.
Away from the tables, visualize scenarios and practice thinking through them step-by-step by using tools like GTO Wizard or Flopzilla.
The more scenarios you learn, the easier your thought process will be during the game.
Start with the most common spots, such as open-raising with BU and being called by the big blind, or vice versa, when BU opens and you are defending your big blind.
If you learn these two spots well enough, you will free up a lot of energy to use in more complex situations.
