Jamming or non-all-in 4b?
In these kinds of situations where it isnt uncommon to run into KK and AA, whats the general proper approach, i.e. jamming like I did or 4b to say ~60bb and folding if raised? I always feel awkward in these large pf pots with JJ, QQ, etc. and so would really appreciate some clarity, thanks a ton!

In this situation, you are making a 5bet, not a 4bet.
I'm leaning toward a 5bet push in this depth instead of a 60bb bet.
If your opponent (the pool) has a low 4bet, it is better to call with hands like JJ-QQ. Or call with JJ and split QQ for 50% push and 50% call.
It's a cooler if you lose.
4betting light is more common as you move up the stakes mainly because 3betting light is very common.
5betting light becomes a thing once 4betting light is common.
Unless you know for damn sure villain only 4b KK and AA only, otherwise it's easy shove. Calling 4b has merits as well but can be very tricky to maneuver if you have no clue what you're doing.
Yeah it’s fine wp
You are only 120bb in, pretty sure every pre flop chart out there says your 5bet is always a jam. That is the optimal strategy.
For exploitation I would forget trying to play a 5bet and fold. Your pot odds facing a 6bet all in would be 25%. If you know 100% it's always KK or AA then yeah you save a little bit of money since QQ is only 20% equity. If he puts even just a few AKs in there, like the suited ones, then you are just losing in general by folding. Min click it back if you really want to play this strategy, then your pot odds increase and folding to a jam becomes easier, but then you are overly complicating pre-flop in my view.
If you want to play this spot exploitatively it's folding facing the 4-bet. But even then I would fold TT, maybe JJ, AQ to someone who has a 3bet% less than 3 betting from early position.
Hi friend,
The math is:
Qq vs kk+ only - 20% equity
Qq vs kk+ ak+ - 40% equity
Qq vs jj+ ak+ = 50% equity
So...
Unless you know you opponent is a complete nit that won't have ak in his range, you are jamming and calling jams with QQ.
Even in the most common scenario online, that the guy is ak+ kk+, you 4bet to 25bb and he jams 100bb... you need to put in 75bb for a 200bb pot = 37, 5%. You have a call... if it is the other way around I am shoving 100% because you also get fold equity on top of the deal.
Very deep stack you have considerations to make, but 100ish bb you can just embrace the variance guilt free. 😀
One last comment:
If by any chance you KNOW the guy is a mega nit only 4betting kk+, then you fold this qq and destroy him by 3betting 25% in position against him all night long.
