[CoinPoker] - Ex-Official - Bringing the Game Back to Players

Hello Everyone,
This is the Official Thread of CoinPoker (previous thread)

CoinPoker: The Decentralized Poker Room Built for Players, by Players

Developed by an ambitious team of poker lovers, CoinPoker is a revolutionary platform that uses blockchain technology to address key issues in the poker industry. Despite being far from our vision for CoinPoker as the biggest poker room in the world, our team is proud to be the first project of its kind to deliver on the promises made during its ICO period.

Lengthy payment processing, limited transparency on fair play, as well as a blase attitude towards community feedback are just some of the prevalent problems in today’s online poker world. Since CoinPoker launched at the end of 2017, it has attracted a growing community of players and investors who share the same goal of bringing the game back to players.
Using Decentralized Technology to Ensure Fair Play
One of the key benefits of the blockchain movement is that it empowers users by adding transparency and convenience to traditional services. Poker rooms in particularly reserve the rights to hold player funds and release them at their own discretion, and as a result of complex payment systems simple transfers can be delayed by as much as weeks.

The Benefits of Cryptocurrency Powered Bets

All deposits, withdrawals, and bets on CoinPoker are powered by the cryptocurrency token CHP (Chips). The use of CHP speeds up payments, and gives players the ability to track payments to and from their account on the public Ethereum network.

CHP token holders are able to quickly move funds to and from their CoinPoker account, and for passionate advocates of the project it is a means to invest in the platform as it continues to grow and expand. It is also possible to exchange ETH tokens to CHP inside the CoinPoker app, making it as easy to acquire as one of the most popular assets on the crypto market.

Available on a growing list of exchanges including KuCoin and HitBTC, CHP tokens are in the process of being adopted by other gaming businesses in the near future.

Player Impact Shown on a Decentralized Random Number Generator (RNG)

Fast payment processing is not the only way CoinPoker wields decentralized technology for the benefit of the player. Random number generators (RNGs) used to shuffle decks in a variety of card games (poker included) have often been scrutinized by players as mysterious and, as a result, they are often approached with suspicion.

Trust is essential between a player and poker room for the experience to be optimal, which is why CoinPoker will be introducing a fully decentralized RNG this year. The feature will be the first of its kind in the poker industry, and will give players the possibility to view their impact on dealt hands in a visual dashboard alongside hand history.

Internationally Accessible on Desktop and Mobile

Players from all over the world are able to access our desktop client, and our launch of an Android app has already resulted in thousands of players hitting the tables while on the go. Coming soon is the release of the CoinPoker app for iOS, which we expect to release this summer.
CoinPoker’s Community-Centric Business Model
Central to our operations is carefully monitoring feedback from our players. The success of our ICO is owed to a diverse group of small and large investors, many of whom are now active players, and we feel a strong obligation to make sure their needs and wants are met.

This is why we have invested heavily in hosting epically proportioned promos from the get-go, in line with the promises made during the ICO period.

Millions of CHP Awarded in Large Scale Tournaments and Promotions

Since launching, CoinPoker players were given the opportunity to win a Tesla, collect over 400ETH in various tournament series like ETH Madness, participate in a 10,000,000 CHP Added Crypto Series of Poker (CSOP), and win millions of CHP in daily freerolls
and freebuys.

Introducing Rake after Operating Rake-Free Since the 2017 Launch

After boasting zero rake on games for over half a year, CoinPoker will be introducing rake as a means to facilitate future growth. The revenue will be allocated towards future promotions, development costs, and the funding of new and ongoing partnerships with leading poker associations to establish our brand and give players exciting opportunities to play across the globe.

Can you PM regarding an issue I'm having on CP please.

Can you please email: support@coinpoker.com

The fact we can't even study our own hands and see what is happening on a granular level with regards to our stats, or our aiev, makes me think you're hiding something. I am pretty certain there's some very odd play here and I want to review my hands in a software like PT or HEM that will alow me to see wtf is going on.

The improvement of our hand histories is a big project- it has been raised at a management level in the past. I am sorry that you experience difficulties with the HH. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide any concrete details.

Can you please email: support@coinpoker.com

I have...was told I would have my issue resolved in 72 hours...been well over and no further replies.

What happened to the traffic on CP?

I would say its because the iphone app is dead. It's why i haven't played there in months.

We are actively seeking ways to get the iphone app available again for customers. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Thank you for the positive feedback.

We are working on some cash game promotions at the moment. I can share some details on here once they are finalised.

Promotions will only work if it gives more rakeback or if you lower rake altogether. Rake race type promos only appeal to mass grinders which in turn makes the games worse and most players aren't incentivised to compete with mass grinding robots. The only way to make a real incentive for people to play here is to attract more fish and make the games amazing. If there were more fish more games will run 24/7. I've got a few ideas for you generally how to grow the site from a business POV feel free to DM me and you can put me in touch with whoever it is that makes these types of decisions.

Promotions are not enough IMO too.
Attracting fish players is the key yep. What they need?
- Bigger Freerolls with good ITM money. Same as in past when the sites offering good freerolls.
- Rabbit hunt.
- fast fold poker?
- nl2 0.01-.0.02 tables, I understand this is not profitable for the site, but they love it this is good marketing.
- Big silly avatars in CoinPoker avatars small and ugly.
- Rake is too high in CoinPoker IMO too, whats the benefit in coinpoker cg? Nothing, you can play with bigger playpool with same high rake. CoinPoker started with low rakes and nowdays? The rake high 5% same as other sites.
- In cg 9 player tables fish players love this.
- Maybe add SNG because nowdays nobody offering, 180-360 man SNG is really popular in the past.
- Double or nothing?
- micro cg heads up games.
- better backgrounds, and nicer card skins… Bigger buttons, avatars, cards on the interface…
Etc etc etc…..

I have got ideas too, but the big sites dont care… They running own opinions and thats is, what the players love? Who care? Only GG makes good thing for fish players, but rake/rakeback is awful (scam).

Your welcome, yes I play on CP about 2-3 days/week, but the traffic is too low in CG, this is not motivate me for playing bigger volume...

Don't change the UI at all. Its the cleanest poker site out there. Tbh everything he posted is why I don't play at other places, but I understand these gimmick games do get more people in.

I would however love nl and plo hu tables at low/mid.

Thank you for sharing, we are working on alot of things at the moment. We do not plan to over complicate the interface- just to add some qualitative improvements.

We are looking at HU for lower stakes- currently we cannot offer them as hu players tend to monopolise the leaderboards, so we are improving our backend to give us the option to separate or exclude HU from leaderboards.

This would be awesome to have HU tables back at 2/5 and below! Excited that you guys are making moves here.

Exclude seems unfair. Reduced perhaps i get.

We will try to keep things as equitable as possible.

There are pretty compelling reasons why there are very few options online for HU games.

also wanted to chime in fwiw... much like others: love coin poker UI, however traffic is too low, bigger tournament guarantees would help, but i know why a site wouldn't want overlays. love the plo tuesdays... i played for a good couple months good bonus but hard to clear because not enough traffic in plo and in general, enjoyed played on iphone until it stopped working, did notice one player playing for more than 24 hours straight in plo cash (other players noticed this too and pointed it out at one point) which seemed peculiar... no longer play there
