Thank you.
I wouldn't classify it as software. It's a database. I'm sure lots of people use it while playing but I just made a very large deposit and I'd rather make sure 100% I'm not going to get banned for using it.
I know what sharkscope is lol, they had a hud at one time….still might. I assumed that’s what you were talking about

I don't even know if a hud would work on Global, but that's not the point since that not what I would be using it for. It would be for classifying players by looking them up on Sharkscope while I play on Global at the same time. I asked support but they didn't say it was against tos but of course giving me a clear answer would have difficult I guess lol. They just say they don't encourage players to use 3rd party software.
There are two guys who have been colluding everyday non stop in sngs from $15-$200. They are chip dumping the most obvious spots that it seems they don’t even care about getting caught. Like player a bb for 200 and player b has 240 chips left and will shove and player a will fold.
I’ve seen it happen so many times in the last week and if you look up their ss they have all the same games played together in over a week. It’s the most blatant colluding or multi accounting I seen.
Just their sharksc
I will attest to having seen this myself. He's not wrong; and in some situations it's more blatant than others.
Nothing will be done about it; because there is no HH on the website. In fact; I recently played some GC games for the promo. It has HH for each and every hand I played in GC....and none of the HH for any SC games played....
So sussy baka.
I mean they're sponsoring NFL players and celebrities, I doubt theyd be tasking such a public strategy if they truly were in danger of being shut down. Theyd want to be as low profile as possible
...because no poker site has ever sponsored celebrities and then turned around and been caught doing shady things..../s
I think I ran in to a couple colluders today, chk out this hand. Final table of "the little big one" MTT
https://play.globalpoker.com/hand/9a8092...
There's no reason for the BB to fold here when the SB is all in for less than 1 BB. If he timed out, it would've been an auto call but he just pressed fold.
Seems that way; and the final table is usually where collusion becomes obvious in MTT.
There was recently a controversy in a high stakes MTT, where players covered each others action; then soft played each other at final table; because by allowing each other to place higher; they made more money.
it’s very tempting for anyone who does the sweeps mail ins to want to increase their volume by having a family member/roommate sign up. You absolutely cannot have two accounts from the same household etc. and of course Global is gonna aggressively ban people because otherwise they’re giving free money away. They’re already giving free money away via mail ins in the first place!
This is not the case; and TMK, one of the streamers they promote is a husband and wife combo....that live together; they don't love each other, but they definitely live together. (Why would they play poker together if they loved each other? Recipe for domestic abuse, lmfao)
yea I stopped reading after seeing the account gets closed after a year. Figured that losing your balance was a part of that.
They should probably put those two clauses near each other, not 4 pages later in the middle of cashout rules.
I had a support person argue with me; Essentially I had written a curse word in passing, not towards them. The exact phrase: "If the POV of global poker isn't to make it right, then my POV is there is a casino an hour away I can play at with none of this ****ing drama."
They berated me for using the f word in that context; so I suggested we move to arbitration; quoted the TOS, told them where there are errors in the TOS....(Clause 24 is incorrectly referenced as clause 23) and then said 'Let's arbitrate' as it's not in your TOS. Your TOS says I can't harass players; says nothing about cussing passively.
They replied with the cookie cutter "We'll take that into consideration" but completely stopped trying to censor me.

Impossible. And it happens to me all day and night online. Simply can't play anymore because this is all that happens when I sit down. /shrug. I know "variance", right? Not for years. Not every...single...time...I start winning can the 2-10% beats start. Then flush over flush. Then set over set. These are not legit games.

This is happening at an absurd rate for myself as well.
Runner Runner Flush -> https://play.globalpoker.com/gp/10/hand/... (All in on flop - I was ahead @ flop)
One outtered on river -> https://play.globalpoker.com/gp/10/hand/... (All in on turn - Ahead on turn, lost on river - admittedly terrible play, but it was still correct based on each's hand)
You might be thinking; if they are calling these hands; you're just getting bad beats, and you should be stacking these people! The thought makes sense on paper; In practice -> Any time I go all in prior to river; I'm getting the most insane 1 or 2 outters. The 6-8% odds are occurring at rates above that.
The only all ins I've won; are instances where I had the worse hand and got their by river; just like they do to me.
It's really odd; I don't get it, and it doesn't make any sense. The math isn't mathing on GP.
The real issue is that players who don't play on GP, they just see the hands; and think these are the 'variance' examples; and we're hiding the 'winning' hands.
I can support your statements; as it has very much been my experience in cash games. Something is off; can't figure out what. No HH for SC, and such a detailed HH for GC makes you really wonder what's going on...
I could give my thoughts but they would inevitably be met with one of the following:
"You're just sad you lose, bro"
"Nothing suspicious about this at all"
"The games are great bro, quit crying"
And so on and so on.
Looks like some people have caught on; that when you try to explain on here; you get roasted, despite all of us regs knowing what's up.

Gross misuse of semicolons aside, there's enough Sharkscope data available to show winning players are profiting in tournies in the longterm which is indicative of no issues with RNG. Are you strictly referring to ring games when you mention you think the "math isn't mathing?"
I don't disagree with all of your points, for what it's worth. Their TOS is often vague and their Support continues to deny internal issues. There are definitely bots on this aite although not rampant or talented (at least at low-midstakes). Just trying to clarify since there is enough public data that doesn't reveal anything weird about tourneys.

I've written about this multiple times but hate doing so. I'll TL;DR it.
I think ring games are being used (inappropriately) to fund tourney guarantees and the $5 per envelope promo. (Which comes to well over minimum wage)
Tourneys do have an RNG issue; and I'm a winning tourney player. I know the exact spot that can be abused in tournaments. I've posted about it; it sounds crazy; it's actually DDA. (The alternative is variance hits in the exact way I expected it to at the exact point I expected it to each time I tested it)
That's before we get into undisputed facts like no HH, no HUD, etc. Are they really trying to protect us from sharks? Or is it more likely their shadiness has benefits to themselves? Why specifically can't I see my own HH? (HH that lasts until you logout and is often incomplete is not a HH; it's extremely suspect).
HH would remove all doubt; they have no plans of adding it.
Hey all,
I've been having this issue trying to log into my account today.
Which, I've seen multiple players been having the same issue.
When I go to log in, it goes straight to a black screen on my PC, that is.
But on my phone, I'm able to sign in with no issues.
Before, emailing GP, themselves.
Figured I'd come here to get the answer.
Any help, would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
I'm in!!!

I almost always have to login twice on my PC, no issues with my phone or on a different PC. The first time is always "there was an issue logging into your account" Something about deleting cookies. 2nd time always works no problem. Sometimes it does login to a black screen and I just have to refresh the browser and its fine. I use Brave browser on my PC to play here.

Good to know.
Glad I'm not the only one.
I was actually getting tons of lag and mouse cursor issues, as well.
Which, I ultimately needed a new Motherboard and CPU.
After trying 5 different brand new mouses lol.
When do u get the lag / shuddering issues? Is it random? It only happens to me if I replay the hand in the hand reviewer when I'm playing at the same time.
I'm still having issues. The table just freezes up now and I time out. It happens like three times an hour...making the game basically unplayable.
I'm trying everything here. Updating browsers, clearing cookies/cache, updating/restarting computer, restarting network adapter, etc. I'm just using play money right now so I can test out the connection before putting any more real money on the site. This is really annoying. There is *nothing* wrong with my internet connection. It's perfect everywhere outside of Global.
It's when it's my turn to act. I'll make a decision and enter it, and then the screen will just sit there with my clock running down. Sometimes the action gets through, sometimes it doesn't and I time out. Totally unpredictable as to when it happens but once it starts, it doesn't stop.
I'll comment here because nobody else will take you seriously.

You might be think
I play omaha on the site at PLO 50 and PLO 100 - but the 100 games kinda dried up - but i've won over 10k on the site, and the variance can get pretty bad, but the games are defiantly beatable. You will run really good on there and really bad sometimes. I'm on a downswing myself right now - to just random players flopping quads vs my AAxx and than them going on insane 7-8 buy in upswings playing every hand. But usually they just dump it back.
I will say the variance can feel somewhat fishy - but that seems to happen on all poker sites - where you just get caught in a doom loop and can't win. I suppose it happens at live poker too.
