[WPT Global] Official Thread
Hi 2+2ers,
Welcome to the official WPT Global thread!
WPT Global makes poker players’ dreams come true in associati
Has Alex replied to any of the rake changes? I can't see him addressing this anywhere.
One table of 25/50/100 running right now
Zero table of 50/100/200+
well played WPT
So this guy Is a VIP
Ofc this is not the only case of what I assume Is a reg/good reg being labelled as the VIP in the lobby.
Many 'highly skilled' players with the VIP tag. In fact I'd guess the majority of 25/50/100+ reg pool has VIP tag. WPT won't listen and do not care though. They'd rather shift blame and remove rb, than admit that the failure of their 'fair play system' is the main reason behind actual VIPs getting crushed at a fast pace
Another "VIP"
Finally, at tables NLH with straddle, is rake paid preflop?
Tables HU or 3max is rake paid preflop?

He's either a) table starter or b) losing reg thats why hes considered a VIP despite with reg stats. Ive seen him play this guy blows piles on insurance so it makes sense to consider him a VIP despite reg stats. Im pretty certain he's not a table starter but a losing rec with reg stats

he is not a table starter, he might be breakeven.
He's a huge bumhunter that shouldn't be allowed to sit with as a VIP/open lobby, he might have find a way to rigged the system or somehow is account never got flagged.
There are a few players like him that it's obv they are not losing/recreationals but can do that

I think it's some kind of a bug. I saw myself as VIP at the table couple of times and Im up quite a bit at WPT and also my lobby is locked since day 1...
I guess WPT didnt learn from pokerstars. Remember that one time pokerstars was by far the best website and also treated its regulars well?

I think the VIP system thing works if he’s barely winning or losing pre RB. He plays nothing like a reg (buys in short), spends a lot on insurance.

hello liftgrind!!
Is luxon allowed as a deposit method?
Hi, why is the site taking almost 0.8% commision for withdrawals in USDT?
Shouldn't it be 1$?
Is there a crypto option that takes less commision then for withdrawals?
Tnx

it's not commision. It's about USDT's price to USD, sometime WPT have to use more USD to buy the USDT to cashout for you. So sometimes you will see 0.8, sometime zero, sometime 0.1, it depends on USDT's price (following the up/down of the market).
Not sure why you think I’m a VIP? Maybe you are new and don’t realize the mobile lobby shows a particular tables VIP at random. I assure you I have been labeled HSP a very long time
My understanding is that yes, Player C will get rakeback here (since you specify that Player A / B left the table). I am not 100% sure what would happen if they didn't leave the table and just didn't play a hand, but will try to find out
1 funny thing is that because of your answer not 100%, you always said "almost, my understanding" so I never start a table when there are 2 players already sit but never play(sit at different time).
I need a answer that can make me feel 100%, not 99%.
@liftgrind thanks for answering, yeah I was not aware of the VIP icon in the mobile app being bugged
It makes Sense now
So is the team going to reply to this? Why is there a rake increase in 50 100+ when 50 100 200 is not even considered high stakes in your filter tab. Also your 40% RB is only offered in 100 200 400 which rarely runs compared to 50 100 200. Please explain this
50/100/200 should also be considered high stakes

it's not like giving 40% rakeback to two players in a game where the rake is 30bb/100 should be a reason to increase rake anyway
right...
right???
