I play on PC, earlier version was not the best but I was able to play.
Appreciate the feedback guys - I've passed it all on to our engineering team.
They have asked that if possible when you make a bug report here, you also provide your user ID (either what is shown at the tables, or the numerical identifier in the 'Profile' section). That way we can associate your report with specific logs, which will help us to resolve your issue.
For those of you reporting lag - please ensure you don't have 'Energy Saver', 'Low Power Mode' or anything similar turned on on your dev

With all due respect, there are so many different bugs.
And I must say it puzzles me why this was released. I mean, this is not beta anymore, right? So it should be close to done.
But I can´t understand how this got through your testing.
Hopefully it gets sorted out, it would´ve been nice to put some decent volume in during the holidays but as is, it´s not feasible.
Please roll back previous version, i remember you guys did this with the lastest patch.
And test more before release, or just update in a sample, not all player.

Couple of things - if you're playing on Windows, you need a graphics card and drivers that support DirectX11. Almost all modern PCs do, but some older ones may struggle. Here's a guide on how to check:
Hit Windows Key + R to bring up the Run prompt.
Type "dxdiag" (without quotes) and press the enter key.
Click the "Display" tab from the panel view in the DirectX window.
Look for "Feature Levels" in the upper right side.
If your PC doesn't support DirectX11 then the first thing to try is updating your graphics drivers. The exact method depends on your configuration, but here's a good overview:

Everything good for me. I don't see any lag like before, very smoothy.
I think you guys should upgrade your PC.
The bugs I found:
- Software goes extremely laggy when I open 3rd/4th table. System freezes for 5 to 10 seconds in every table until the new one is fully loaded (in that timeframe is very likely that someone takes your spot). So it's extremely hard to find a 4th table to play most of the time beacuse of this. But I assume this is not a priority for WPT since this only affects regs.
- When oppening a new table, it's located in the same spot where you open the previous one, which is problematic. N
For your problem you should try IntuitiveTables, the new table will appear where you set it up on Intuitivetables, not WPT.

Same bug this morning, where I close one table and the whole software closes.
Otherwise things look like they are running smoothly.
The problem is that's it's a massive bug, in the sense that I just can't play now, because I can lose all my hands at any given time during a session. It would not be a problem if we had like 5 more seconds to act, but now I just don't have enough time to open the software again and keep my hands.
Which brings me to another problem I have with the software... I understand not having too much time to keep the games running and I love it. But can we at least get some kind of like 10 seconds timebank every hour, like the bare fing minimum? It infuriates me for two reasons :
-You guys could probably hire a competent developer with just the money I had to spend to have the right to think in the last few months.
-We have about 3 seconds to make every decision, but then on every all-in everyone automatically gets the rest of the fing day to decide if they want to get scammed by insurance. Thank you for that option, now can I get some kind of insurance that your shitty software won't crash when I have the nuts?
So you basically put more money in your pockets every time you get a chance, but then can't even offer a playable product to your customers. Zero rakeback, zero loyalty program, F you guys, we know you're going to play anyways because we all have the chinese fish.

Okay so I'm trying the latest version with the link Alex posted here, and so far I can't reproduce the bug where everything closes at once, Yayyy!
Even better, to my absolute delight, I see that they have now implemented "gifts" or "throwables" that you can send to other players for just a couple of cents. Wow! What an amazing upgrade, that is exactly what everyone here has been asking for months. I understand now why it's been taking so long for normal improvements to be had, because priority was on developing these throwables to get the user experience to the absolute top level.

So I played some more poker to really fully experience the new features of the latest version, and I would say that it is now barely playable. Tons of lag, many times when I click a button and it doesn't register, opening a 3rd and 4th table is a real pain as stated earlier by someone else, but I haven't experienced the software closing along with a table. The new lag is different from the old lag though, it's more like everything is visually stuttering instead of everything being 2 seconds late. But then I open a 3rd table and everything freezes for 5 seconds.
My computer is 2 months old, tip top processor but average graphic card, maybe that's it? Maybe I need a gaming computer to now be able to throw a chicken being strangled at my opponents? I have DirectX 12, so I guess that supports DirectX11.

I had to turn that stuff off on the site I am on because it caused lagging and the site I was previously on never had an issue with lagging when the throwables were on. Really silly though when a site already has lag problems and high CPU usage to be introducing something that makes it worse which makes me question the experience of those engineering the software.

Im using macbook pro with 36g ram and im lagging. First this app wont run my external monitor attached as the app just crashes. The only way around it for me is to play without a monitor and it will run smoothly for a while. Afterward maybe a hr or 2 in when I start lobbying new tables the lag begins with stutters and freezing. The only way to stop this is closing and rebooting the app.
I hope the technical team solves this as this new update has been super frustrating for me and most of us here. I had no issue prior to this update and now it's stutter, lag, freeze and I can't even run the app with a external monitor on macOS.
@WPT Global Alex man we ask you please. Make the old version usable again.
Is not about Diretx or Low power mode (or at least not only).
I support direct x 11 and i play with high performance settings.
This is a new gaming pc, with this i can run the last games in the market.
Is not only about pc or settings, this new versions has big problems.
Today i had to restart the client 3 times, and it was the most tilting session of the year because of this and finally i had to stop the session.
At one point everything froze and you couldn't press any button until you restarted the client.
After years of old bugs persisting in the old version, why does it seem so strange to you that the new version (which was released in beta less than a month ago) has bugs that make it unplayable?
This is the time of year when people play the most and you risk losing tons of rake to people who can't play the new version.
Why for you is so a big problem to let both versions running until the problems of the new version are solved?

I wanted to jump right into the game after the vacation, but as I read all the problems, I´d rather wait for the more stable version of the software
at least you can play. mine just straight up crashes when i plug in my external monitor
I can see that the dev team is working on this right now and our customer support team is in touch with you - hopefully we can resolve this pretty quickly. It seems to be specific to your setup as we've tested many configurations with multiple monitors (including my own!) In any case - really appreciate your feedback to the support team, thank you.
I appreciate there are many different bugs to be sorted but the button issue is paramount. It is very disconcerting when trying to play multiple tables, and even when it happens on a single table it has thrown me off a bunch of times.
The client shut down on me today again exiting 1 table, then when I restarted the client it only showed me one table. I had to restart the client again to get the remainder of my tables to reappear.
It's very difficult to believe this is the version that was being talked about months ago, or that it was stress tested. These issues are happening regularly every session.
