[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread

Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?

So are we probably going to lose all the notes that we had made in regards to individual screen names/players we had played against on our old WSOP.com Nevada?

Highly likely, even if not, likely most will sign up with new screen name on new site and they will be mostly useless.

Sounds like next week. WHO KNOWS lol

edit: Just realized I've passed 20yrs on 2+2.

Old fashion update to the update to the other update that has zero answers or timeframe. We went from early May to mid May now to June 1.

Has to be next week early because June 1st is Saturday I believe. This is such a cluster f__

Okay Hood I just have to ask you specifically on this one. How can you say that the approval by regulatory board is a formality yet they still don't have it when their original date was may 8? Who is writing this? Are these articles yours or a co worker that isn't on 2+2?

Seems like they would have a formality done before the initial projected date.

I got a bet down with someone today getting 2.2 to 1 odds that it's up and running new software and tri state by June 1st at the latest. LFG. lol

I guess this is their announcement

What is this bs anyway? What does pre-register for the new online poker even mean?
Is there somewhere to do this?
It's pretty hard to do it by 5/22/24 when they announce it on 5/24/24.

Didn’t know they paid rake pre.

After very limited research effective rake seems to be similar to that of other sites, even with rake PF

GG is one of the highest raked networks. Very, very few people win post rake.

edit: I'd like to clarify, while on the surface the rake looks similar to other networks....they also take out a addiitonal "rake" for jackpots / promotions, but don't actually call it rake. They will reduce your rakeback during promotional periods and regs get reduced rakeback vs fish.

Shouldn't we already see online braclet events?

Im in NJ

yeah they got some typos. it says at top of page the promo doesnt start until the 28th but you have to do it by the 22. Its a sh*t show over there.

The article is bylined Anuj, who posts here, and it his reporting, but I edited the article and the choice of the word "formality" in that sentence was mine.

Seems like they would have a formality done before the initial projected date.

When PokerStars went live with shared liquidity in Michigan, they announced a go-live date of January 1 before the formal approval of the MGCB and NJDGE, so it is not unprecedented.

But to the broader point, it's a good question, and we don't know why they are a month behind their original schedule.

Perhaps this is why they haven't received regulatory approval deemed to be a "formality." Maybe they keep submitting applications with typos and mistakes. Would that really shock anyone?

Boom! I would wait for them to send out the tweet again, they just deleted it. But this site is still up.

Bankroll transfer, Yea.

The current WSOP Online client will close on May 27 at 4:55pm PT and the new client will be available once we upload the software and stabilize the platform. To access WSOP Online moving forward, you will need to download the new client.

Prior to the launch of the new client, all tournaments will be concluded.

Players still seated at cash games will be disconnected at 4:55pm PT.

Players who have pre-registered will have access to the following perks: bankroll and tournament ticket transfer, WSOP Point transfer, a Main Event Seat Freeroll ticket, and first access to choose a username on the new software.

Players who do not preregister before May 27, will still be able to register and make new deposits after launch. However, it may take up to seven-business days for bankroll, tournament ticket, and loyalty point transfers.

Players who do not register before July 31, 2024 will not have access to transfer. Their old account will be closed and cashed out to the address of file.

Every player will be required to create a new account. You will not be guaranteed your previous username. Please chose your name wisely as requests to change your username in the future may not be permitted.

**pre-register in case there is any know your customer bs to clear up ahead of time.

Thanks, parisron. I find it very strange I haven't received an email about any of this though.
