Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?

I pre-registered, I didn't see anything about sending my old bankroll over.

Same, just pre registered but nothing about bankroll. Sounds like they will eventually have a bankroll transfer option.

I'm super excited to finally get some updated software!

I called support because I was concerned about my current account not having my legal first name but me using my legal first name with new account since it said to for verification etc.

They say they escalated to proper department, and they will email me details. Maybe it would work anyway on migration day or maybe they have to fix something with different first names, who knows. lol

Hopefully I didn't screw it up with first name thing, or they fix it soon.

A real shame to lose existing player notes that have been maintained for many years. Starting from scratch once again. I'm losing valuable information that will take time to get again.

I mean you can still copy and paste notes and if people pick the same sn or once you figure out who they are you can paste. it is a pita though

Any word on whether there will be one of their normal monthly deposit bonuses (I mean aside from the 100k freeroll)?

Mostly excited to get chat back(apart from obvious other benefits)

Notes likely irrelevant for moist part as I expect most are gonna change usernames

I don't think there is chat on the new software, maybe throwing emojis or selecting from a few prewritten chat text.

If someone knows for sure let's hear it.

Good lord poker players complain about anything. You are getting a bunch of new players be happy.

Now for the most important question regarding this transition: How many characters do they give you for your new screen name? (But I do actually want to know before I get on there to register lol)

From reading the FAQ, it looks like we lose our rewards status and have to start from scratch regarding rakeback? They are designing a new program? Their webpage does not seem to have any new information on this yet.

Yes, and do we earn tier credits in the same manner as before? I do understand they have been focused just on getting this done in time for the series, but these are important to know.

I don;t see any screen names with more than 12 characters in the current Nevada and New Jersey pool

WSOP MI rewards are, by far, the worst of the 3 sites we have currently.

Welcome to the suck.

I doubt it's the same since WSOP isn't transferring statuses, but it's the most confusing part right now. The link to the new loyalty program in the FAQ shows the current system. They also don't have an FAQ about WSOP Points, but "WSOP Point transfer" is listed in the email as something that happens when you preregister.

I found this language regarding tier credits (is this the same as before?)

"1 Tier Credit for every 50 Points you earn playing your favorite cash games and tournaments online."

Regarding bonuses:
"Currently the WSOP Online deposit bonus is a 100% up to $1,000 Deposit Bonus, a WSOP Main Event Seat Drawing entry, and seven Free Spins."

Pre-registration done! But, I can't believe in this day and age wsop does not allow special characters in your password, and although it says my password is strong, it's not.

It does have special characters, maybe you picked something that wasn't allowed.

still, pretty ****ing dumb, they should list which special characters are not allowed but nah, it's just says "no special characters"

Looking at the structures on the online bracelet events on the Michigan software, the $400 ultra stack on 6/11/24 looks great. 50k chips, 15 minutes blinds starting at 50/100 blinds 10 ante. Great structure.

Lmao, you can't even use numbers for pw

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about, I used a password generator that had lower case, upper case, numbers and special characters and copy pasted it and it worked the first time.
