[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread
Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?

hilarious on so many levels.
If they force that person to give up that name for DNegz it's going to be pretty messed up and it seems like against their own terms.
It would be perfect if we could play plo on the new mobile app. but i wont get my hopes up.

they definitely forced him to change it from dnegs .
he has amazing clout with wsop so not surprised but also on par for wsop ,for A not blocking popular screenames like that or letting us just keep our old names and having first dibs on them. also not to mention the confusion the pros are gonna have when all their notes are gonna be useless the first couple weeks if a good pro or a bad rec changes sn .
I also wonder what this does to the data mining cos out there if they also do it for the wsop c
player base
I was able to register a new username for WSOP NV, but not WSOP NJ. I'm not in either state. Anybody else having that problem? Does NV & NJ still have separate accounts on the updated software?
Did you do the pre registration? I think the old client might still be up on their website. Fwiw, NV hasn't had separate usernames from NJ since 2019?
Only a couple tournaments on the board, 11 more hours!
I requested a large ACH withdraw on Saturday, got the initial email confirmation but it's not showing up in the cashier window like it normally does. Hopefully, it gets processed without any delays.
Will the site be down from 7pm EST today until tomorrow?
Just curious if there will be play available after 7pm EST tonight, and what all will be available. The notification made it seem as if we need to download the new software come tomorrow.
Should go down around 5pm PST and within a few minutes be up with a new download for the new software.
"Will My Poker Rewards Status Transfer?–
No. As a part of merging the player pools from WSOP Online Nevada, New Jersey, and Michigan, we needed to create a loyalty program that would be common to all markets. Now, your status will reset every month. You can learn more about the new loyalty program here."
Well this sucks but at least there should be a big deposit bonus.

I just cashed out my bankroll via cage. I didn't get an email for either the initial withdrawal or the approval email (I always get both) but it showed up as "paid" in my history. I called them and they told me I should be fine and the cage paid me out even without the email confirmations.
Just found out about this yesterday. I logged on to withdraw my funds however, I see no option to withdraw on my laptop and/or my phone. Anyone else experiencing this?

Just confirmed here too. That's strange. You could withdraw last night. Maybe they don't want to be inundated with withdrawals on the day of the switch over. I bet the option is back tomorrow on the old client.
Guess I got lucky. Requested just after midnight this morning. Got the email right away, usually takes a day or two to actually get the money.
also can't withdraw. wsop is the nut low. I'm trying to withdraw before I can't even access my account because I can't produce a hard copy of a social security card .
Im hoping the old client will work to be able to withdraw after today
Real banks don't even need a hard copy of a SS card to open an account, seems a bit much.
Pretty sure if you pre register they will transfer your balance over. Pre reg ends at 7pm est. Although idk if you have to resubmit documentation

Trying to withdraw hours before the site shuts down is probably not the smartest thing. And if you live in a city with cage withdrawals you should be doing that. Or do what previous poster recommended in pre registering. I just took my money out in case it didn't allow me to use it as a deposit bonus.
And yeah, a hard copy of your SS is ridiculous. Most people don't even have one. I don't.
So when are we expecting to be able to download the new software? I'm assuming we'll get another email from wsop when it's ready.

Good lord you sound like my first wife. He wasn’t asking when he should have withdrawn he was complaining that a website would ever remove the withdrawal feature, regardless of what else is going on.
Why did they add new tournaments on the old software

Hey dumdum, I explained why. It's their busiest day in over a decade and don't want to be inundated with withdrawal requests. Makes perfect sense. Complaining about not being able to withdraw on the exact day they upgrade software/merge, which hasn't happened since they launched in over a decade, is stupid.
Client keeps popping and saying 4pm PST shutdown.

Way to go Copernicus, you truly are special.
