Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?

Is NV every going to get another poker site? It's insane that WSOP has a monopoly the market with software they can't and won't upgrade.

Why would they bother when they have actual casinos all over NV.

Weren't they supposed to update us to the new 888 software like a year or more ago? Whatever happened to that?

I think I've submitted ~5 support tickets over the years - 3 they didn't respond to at all, one they did respond to, and the other one was WSOP related, and they responded 4 months after the WSOP ended.

I feel like any other competent site that entered the market would crush it, even if they offered the smallest bit of innovation and improvement on technology. I'd love to see what WSOP.com would do if they were forced into a position where they actually had to hire someone who knows how to grow a site, instead of the braindead PTO mom that's been running the show for a while now.

I will say the tournament schedule has improved greatly on Sundays, despite the complaints about start times from the east coast people.

Why do they have sportsbook apps when there's actual sportsbooks all over?

Fyi, WSOP is having cage withdrawal issues. They wouldn't tell me what the issue is when I pried. Usually my cage withdrawals are approved same day or next day at latest. It's been 3 days. They just said they'd email when it's resolved. Not sure why they'd have an issue making physical withdrawals from a casino.

All of a sudden last week I got like 6 account reports emailed to me from 3 years ago. It must have been something I submitted long ago and forgot about. I found it pretty hilarious.
Now it's looking like cash outs aren't a thing. Something fishy is going on. How do you have "issues" approving physical cash outs at the cage? I'm guessing ACH's aren't working either??

I took me 2 or 3 weeks, something insane for them to email me my withdrawal history for last 6 months. Then one day like BG said, they decided to email me full printout of July 2017 like every top off etc. Why? Who the hell knows.

I had the same issue but after 3 days, I called support and he told me to reverse the cage withdrawal and submit a new one. Hours after doing that, I called back and he pushed it through the same day.

Thanks. I resubmitted on your advice (guy on phone yesterday suggested NOT to reverse it). Then an hour later I get this email confirming what you said:

"Hey Player,

Unfortunately, we encountered a technical issue on some withdrawals requested on February 19th, 2024.
For this reason, we are unable to process the withdrawal you requested on these dates. We kindly ask you to reverse any pending withdrawals requested on February 19th, 2024 and re-submit them so we may process.

Any withdrawals requested on or after February 21st, 2024 will be processed normally within our standard processing timeframe of 48 hours."

I honestly thought it was something to do with the widespread cyber attack that occurred Wed/Thurs.

I tried cashing out last night, but never got the token. I tried both cash at cage and ACH. I'll have to try again today.

I submitted an ACH withdrawal on Feb. 19th and rec'd it today.

Does anyone else feel like their normal withdrawal process times are outrageous? They take BY FAR the longest out of any other site. In fact, most others are same or next day where as wsop takes about a week. Ive had larger withdrawals take more like 2 weeks. Its 2024 and wsop never fails to make you feel like its 2004.

Hey IHeartDD, why do you open sit a table when I am on? You instantly sit out when I join the table. Yet jump on a new table when I am still open sitting my table. Kind of embarrassing with all the accusations you have made and still have yet to show a single shred of evidence of all absurd claims (there were a lot) lol. You made MAOLI and myself jump on here to address you and still nothing from you. You said you would be playing me again in a few weeks til "the sun stops running" lol its been almost a year later and you just sit out till someone else joins. Id be embarrassed if I was in your shoes in this situation but kudos to you for still open sitting when I am on and snap sitting when I join. I couldnt do that.

I was returned to Champions Club but they credited a lower amount of missing points. You can get an estimate of the missing points based on how many bonuses you cleared. You can get the number of bonuses in the client or get a statement report emailed.
I get the statement reports very soon after I request them. I got a bunch of them recently which were probably statements I received before. They probably got resent due to a glitch or bug.

I am in Stateline, NV, staying in Harvey's, literally less than 50 yards from the California state line; I am using the hotel's Caesars Resorts wifi. And the client won't let me play real-money games. I am guessing that this is because the hotel's Internet connection is routed through South Lake Tahoe.

Does anyone have any suggestion for workaround? I would try using my phone as a hot-spot, but there is no guarantee that the nearest cell tower isn't in California.

you need to get on the other side of the hotel most likely. my friend does surveys and the north west corner rooms of Harvey's basically touch the California state line as the state line between California and Nevada is actually west of state line avenue

What difference would that make? The location will still be the location of the point where the hotel's phone line connects to their ISP.

He's likely busto, .50/1 only now. Responding to something like this is trivial concern when solvency risks start flashing.

I wanna hear others chime in. Is what this new reg livid4Esun4 doing against TOS. Hes basically table camping all tables and never battles the reg. So he basically guarantees himself a seat vs recs. not only does it look bad, when the recreational sits, he automatically sits in.

I'm pretty sure it is against TOS. I sent an email to support to saying he does it every day at multiple tables. And it's even worse than just sitting at one table with a reg, he opens new tables and sits out there too, which makes the lobby look worse.

I'm pretty sure it's against TOS too and agree it looks bad. But, in my opinion, it's almost just as bad when you regs leave as soon as the fish leaves and then rejoin the table as soon as another fish comes, usually sitting on their direct left a split second later if possible. The vast majority of regs will not help start or keep a game going for even a few minutes thus leaving the onus to start/keep games entirely on a very small percentage of regs. One other thing to keep in mind is when the table starts breaking, and there is a wait list, it takes a few minutes to clear that list. There's a good chance that there are fish on that list that would've joined, but now won't because there's now 0-2 players at the table when it's their turn vs 3-5 players. So by your unwillingness to stay for just a few minutes, you may actually be ruining opportunities to play with the fish.

Its hard to establish what you said with regs battling or playing for few orbits if others regs arent giving you the same courtesy. what ends up happening is you getting buttoned. And also communication is another issue on wsop without chat. If your willing to share your SN here, ill give you the courtesy of playing few extra orbits after the table breaks just to get the game going and alive.

I understand what you're saying and agree. I don't really expect anyone to reg battle that doesn't want to, especially HU or 3-handed. I just think that the snap leaving and joining tables when the rec leaves/joins is similar to what this guy is doing. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's my opinion. And with the pending wait list, I don't really mind when the games are plenty. I leave and find another table too. I just find it a little frustrating during slow times when there's only a couple games running. I do think if more of us waited a couple minutes to see if someone from the wait list joins, it would increase the chances of more tables going. Once that list is gone, then leave. But you're right in that I think others would need to get on board for that to work. Sigh. We just really need a bigger player pool. My screen name is BillyOcean btw.

Its not the same, because the purpose of king of the hill is for the best player to hold the lobby or tables for when a recreational player joins, where he is guaranteed a seat. And its usually a mutual understanding amongst the regs to not clog the lobbys and not make it so blantantly obvious to recreationals. If anybody wanted the lobby they would play for it, or basically allow the best player at that time to hold the lobby. This person on the other hand has no intentions of playing for the lobby. opens sits, and steals EV from everybody else.

I see your point.

It’s clearly having some effect on the amount of games running. I would really hope this would be against tos rules.
