[NL10] Does X/C river has higher EV?
I guess I should have been betting bigger on the flop and turn to make it more natural for all in on the river, that is one thing.
And I am wondering if bet otr is always higher EV game? Does it make sense to X/C sometimes? Here I am thinking to make missed draws to bluff but my assumption is that it won't be enough of such combos in his range to justify checking...
I guess we anyway loose here to any boats he might have one way or another.

I would just jam at this point against a fish. He can call with any A, J, even a T or random stuff because he doesn't believe you.
I would iso bigger preflop ~6-8bb depending on how wide he limp/calls. And imo checking would be pretty bad as your hoping for him to bet Ax. I would (as AskZander) also go all-in OTR.
Jam river -- I would consider checking with AA and AJ, since these block villains calls and it's more likely that he holds a busted draw that he could bluff on the river.
Versus a recreational player we can value bet wider, so in this case just bet turn and jam river.
Preflop can also be a little bigger
