Did I have a month, or am I bad at poker? What mircostakes level should I play?

Hi
Started back at poker in October last year.
On Ignition, I was playing .02/.05c and slowly winning. Then in late Jan I moved to .05/10c and started to win more.
February was a shocker. I don't think I'm playing awful poker, but I could be wrong. I attached a hand from March, which has also started poorly.

Leakbuster seems to think I'm OK?

The hand I've really struggled with is AKs and AKo and other premium hands. I usually open raise about 10bb and get called, or I 3bet and called, or I call a 3bet.
Miss the flop, make a pot sized continuation bet and get called or in position miss the flop face a pot sized bet and fold.
On one occasion I went all in pre-flop, and you can see the result in the screenshot!
I've also just moved to Coinpoker so I can collect information on my opponents via Drivehud 2

I think my screenshots are the best way to see my decline. Note loosing with top pair top kicker - over pairs and even nut straights?
Any advice appreciated!

Hey,

The 5k hands is a really small sample, so it is difficult to separate what is variance and what isn't. However there are a few red flags - The low positional awareness, low won when saw flop, low 3bet etc. The open raise to 10bb is also unusual, outside of say low stakes live poker.

I would also say some of the stats ranked as A/B or C are bit off - The turn aggression looks low and you have high fold to cbet. I think that combined with the other numbers would suggest you are playing too weak/passive (it is possible you got away with some of this stuff over the larger sample at 2c/5c full ring, which I would imagine plays a bit like live poker).

23k hands isn't a lot at all. Even 100k hands is relatively small. Just play whatever stake you are rolled for and comfortable at. I'd recommend 30-40 buy-ins for each limit when you're just starting and if you don't want to ever re-deposit.

You can play around with the following calculator to get a better understanding of samples/variance:

This sims possible outcomes after you input: winrate (mean), sample (n), and standard deviation (σ😉 for a 95% confidence interval.

Also, what rbrtioh above all says is correct. You are basically a fish at the moment. Just try to continue to get better and (probably) play the lowest limits.

Don't worry about what level you're at. Unless you can continuously crush a stake you should probably stay at that stake is the truth that doesn't like to be told. Regs play spots, fish play their roll. Ideally we need to feel as satisfied with an extremely well played EV fold against a fish at 2nl as we do about sunrunning 2knl.

It is important to get feedback and zoom out to admire the view sometimes but that's just the reward IF we master the art of prioritising EV. This takes time. 2+2 has a deceptively deep pool of players who know their **** though and they offer it for free so posting hands here is insane free EV
