Is this a call preflop? I think I like it better if stacks are deeper.
As played I am unsure if this is a flop check raise. I'm getting a good price to call, but I also think the check raise gets called by worse (flush draws, QT, Q9, KT, T8, T9, J8, K9).

Preflop call is good.
On the flop call is more standard - You are still beat by overpairs/sets/2pairs/straights (and a lot of the FDs are combo draws on this board which doesn't help you a great deal). However for these stack sizes you are still going to get it in against worse (you could also argue some of the stronger hands in V2's range would have reraised vs the lead).
