Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has T J

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 2.6 BB, fold, Hero calls 1.6 BB

Flop: (5.6 BB, 2 players) 4 J 4
Hero checks, BTN checks

Turn: (5.6 BB, 2 players) K
Hero checks, BTN bets 3 BB, Hero calls 3 BB

River: (11.6 BB, 2 players) 2
Hero bets 3.6 BB, BTN raises to 13.4 BB, Hero ?

I think that my hand is a bluff catcher after villains raise. Should I call or fold? BTN needs to be creative with buffs and I don't think that they will find them on this limit.

Why block bet like that? Just check.

As played, fold river.

Why block bet like that?

I wanted to extract some extra value from Kx and 4x, which probably find a crying call against my tiny donkbet. I also lose less when they raise w/ Ah or Qh and I fold. I guess checking becomes more valuable when they are more aggressive w/ bluffs, however, my impression is that they are too passive over all.

Checking flop is okay. Turn call good. River bet not ideal since worse rarely calls and better always raises. Once raised, fold.

Good sizing on river, but once raised, you’re cooked. People at these stakes don’t bluff or raise lower flushes. Just fold and note if villain ever shows up light.
