QQ facing 4b
Villain is 19/14 after 100 hands
I think my 3b squeeze is a little large. Not sure what to do when facing the 4b though. Fold, call or raise? I decided to call to keep his range wide and the price was good.
On the flop I can't see what I'm beating so just folded

I think shoving pre is more standard. Calling oop is harder to play. Unless you have a real reason to.
Folding is never an option with premiums with 100bb.
You 3bet isn't too big, I personally squeeze up to 14bb here.
Flop I think we can float once and evaluate. V can also have weaker pocket pairs(99-JJ), some suited connectors, some broadways, some random hands.
This is a simple pot odds question.
There's 3.94 in the pot and you have to call 1.28, you need to win 24.52% of the time to make the call.
Against QQ+ you have 18%
Against AKs/QQ+ you have 27%
Against a more realistic range of AK/QQ+ you have 40%
Not sure if I did the math right for shoving.
Assuming villain only calls QQ+ (and folds all AK) it's slightly +EV
Assuming villain calls 50% of AK it becomes slightly -EV and our EV decreases as vilain calls more with AK.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
So I think calling pre and then folding flop is the correct play.
Disclaimer: I suck at math!
I doubt players at 10NL have many - if any - 4bet bluffs in their range.
Preflop is fine. Your 3-bet size is a bit big, but okay. Once he 4-bets, just call is fine.. you’re too strong to fold, too weak to jam.
Starting with your 3-bet, I don't think it's too big, given you're in the BB so should be clicking the raise size up a bit more in theory. I reckon an argument could be made that against a player in EP with nitty looking stats as that, you could size down a bit to save money when you're 4-bet
Splitting hairs at this point though
The decision preflop is obviously whether to call or raise; folding is certainly out of the question. Unfortunately, it's hard to work it out because shoving feels gross and calling to play QQ against the aggressor OOP is also pretty crap
Shoving works because villain should have some 4-bet bluffs. In other words, they need to be including (granted not at 100% frequency) stuff like {A8s, A9s, ATs, AJs, KJs, KTs, K9s}.. I don't think they have these hands and it's going to be a very linear range you're against, so in this situation I would say that calling is the lesser of two evils
Flop is unfortunate as it's bone dry and the A hits, which means even {AK} is ahead of you now. I wouldn't give them {JJ} in this spot, so you're just crushed by their entire range unfortunately and fold is the right decision. I certainly wouldn't be floating this as it's a nice way to burn money
Thanks for the responses. I didn't want to shove pre as I have been playing 5nl until recently where most regs seem to only 4bet KK+. I was always crushed when I shoved QQ pre. It looks like calling is the right play even though it's difficult oop.

You will find the same thing at 10NL - and still a lot of it at 25NL - at 50NL I'm guessing people are starting to add bluffs to their 4bet ranges a bit more, but only the better players
You played it well. Lost the minimum and avoided a big mistake. A-high boards are the worst for QQ.

That is not enough to say whether he is a nit or not. Just jam pre and save yourself trouble. The times when you will be behind in terms of equity against { QQ+, AK } will be made up for whenever he 4-bet bluffs or calls with { JJ, AQs } or maybe even TT.
