2NL - TPGK flop raise

Thoughts on this hand? I think the flop bet is way too thin. Realistically, I think the only worse hands he calls with are flush draws and MAYBE Tx sometimes, maybe the odd worse Ax but not sure how many of those he's calling a 3b with. I like the turn fold.

Very nice 3bet, but playing these spots with the non-premium part of our range is not easy. This flop is really not good for us: preflop we flat 99 very often and TT pretty often, we don't have many sets. When we use the polarized 13BB 3bet strategy, we get a lot of folds preflop but when IP calls our EV drops because we have a weak part of our range, we need to play a bit passive to protect ourselves. This flop looks very nice for CO, who has a lot of sets, double pairs, good draws, etc. I would definitively not bet 1/2 pot on this flop.

For the rest, remember you know you have a not-so-great part of your 3bet range, but most of our opponents do not know and/or do not know how to exploit it. So when you face agression, they mostly have it.

I solved the flop spot, see how we are supposed to just make our life "easier" and check everything. By checking range you ensure you don't do any mistake and put the pressure on villain to take the correct decision, because *they* certainly can't afford to range check. For example they are supposed to bet big with 6h5h (according to the solver), which I believe many 2NL opponents (and myself) won't find. Or maybe the other way around, you know this specific opponent is far too loose/aggro and you are happy to call them down anyway.

Thank you for solving it. I thought it was way too thin to be honest and it’s interesting how the solver agrees albeit for different reasons.

I would check the flop. Villan shouldn't have many worse aces. We really just want to get to showdown cheaply, maybe get a little value from his bluffs and underpairs.
