20nl. what do i do here, in this pretty common spot?

hand starts 100 straddles effective.

I open KQs from ep, Fish in LP Cold Calls, one of the blinds calls.

flop Kd10d6c

I bet half pot, fish calls.

turn 8s, i bet 85% pot. fish calls.

river 6d.

Now im left with 25 straddles left. in an already close too 150 straddle pot.
Do i just check fold, and save myself the small bet. or do i just shove, knowing im most likely dead.

TLDR; What do i do OTR oop, with a tiny bet left relative to size of the pot and the most obvious draw completes.

It would be helpful to have the pot size. How big did you open?

On all streets, try to keep the effective stack size in mind. If your turn sizing will leave an awkward river SPR, you can bet smaller or larger to change that. In this instance, it looks like you should have overbet jammed the turn.

As played, you can’t really check/fold here given the price and the fish might call off with a worse KX hand so I would shove.

Thank you for the advice.

Overbet on the turn makes a lot of sense.
