[CoinPoker] - Ex-Official - Bringing the Game Back to Players

Hello Everyone,
This is the Official Thread of CoinPoker (previous thread)

CoinPoker: The Decentralized Poker Room Built for Players, by Players

Developed by an ambitious team of poker lovers, CoinPoker is a revolutionary platform that uses blockchain technology to address key issues in the poker industry. Despite being far from our vision for CoinPoker as the biggest poker room in the world, our team is proud to be the first project of its kind to deliver on the promises made during its ICO period.

Lengthy payment processing, limited transparency on fair play, as well as a blase attitude towards community feedback are just some of the prevalent problems in today’s online poker world. Since CoinPoker launched at the end of 2017, it has attracted a growing community of players and investors who share the same goal of bringing the game back to players.
Using Decentralized Technology to Ensure Fair Play
One of the key benefits of the blockchain movement is that it empowers users by adding transparency and convenience to traditional services. Poker rooms in particularly reserve the rights to hold player funds and release them at their own discretion, and as a result of complex payment systems simple transfers can be delayed by as much as weeks.

The Benefits of Cryptocurrency Powered Bets

All deposits, withdrawals, and bets on CoinPoker are powered by the cryptocurrency token CHP (Chips). The use of CHP speeds up payments, and gives players the ability to track payments to and from their account on the public Ethereum network.

CHP token holders are able to quickly move funds to and from their CoinPoker account, and for passionate advocates of the project it is a means to invest in the platform as it continues to grow and expand. It is also possible to exchange ETH tokens to CHP inside the CoinPoker app, making it as easy to acquire as one of the most popular assets on the crypto market.

Available on a growing list of exchanges including KuCoin and HitBTC, CHP tokens are in the process of being adopted by other gaming businesses in the near future.

Player Impact Shown on a Decentralized Random Number Generator (RNG)

Fast payment processing is not the only way CoinPoker wields decentralized technology for the benefit of the player. Random number generators (RNGs) used to shuffle decks in a variety of card games (poker included) have often been scrutinized by players as mysterious and, as a result, they are often approached with suspicion.

Trust is essential between a player and poker room for the experience to be optimal, which is why CoinPoker will be introducing a fully decentralized RNG this year. The feature will be the first of its kind in the poker industry, and will give players the possibility to view their impact on dealt hands in a visual dashboard alongside hand history.

Internationally Accessible on Desktop and Mobile

Players from all over the world are able to access our desktop client, and our launch of an Android app has already resulted in thousands of players hitting the tables while on the go. Coming soon is the release of the CoinPoker app for iOS, which we expect to release this summer.
CoinPoker’s Community-Centric Business Model
Central to our operations is carefully monitoring feedback from our players. The success of our ICO is owed to a diverse group of small and large investors, many of whom are now active players, and we feel a strong obligation to make sure their needs and wants are met.

This is why we have invested heavily in hosting epically proportioned promos from the get-go, in line with the promises made during the ICO period.

Millions of CHP Awarded in Large Scale Tournaments and Promotions

Since launching, CoinPoker players were given the opportunity to win a Tesla, collect over 400ETH in various tournament series like ETH Madness, participate in a 10,000,000 CHP Added Crypto Series of Poker (CSOP), and win millions of CHP in daily freerolls
and freebuys.

Introducing Rake after Operating Rake-Free Since the 2017 Launch

After boasting zero rake on games for over half a year, CoinPoker will be introducing rake as a means to facilitate future growth. The revenue will be allocated towards future promotions, development costs, and the funding of new and ongoing partnerships with leading poker associations to establish our brand and give players exciting opportunities to play across the globe.

I am playing 2 PLO tourneys 1 $200 PLO and 1 $100 PLO. The $100 PLO is already in the money with 6 players left. Suddenly I was booted out of the app. I tried to re login but it says I am banned? What is the problem?

Aside from a reply on my email to support@coinpoker.com that my email will be forwarded to security team no other reply yet from them. Anybody else experience being locked out of COIN POKER?

Anyone else have this glitch happen where a new table opens and instead of opening a new window it overlays onto an existing table. Then the original table becomes unplayable and the software glitches between the two tables on one window with neither functioning. Trying to close the new table or reject joining it closes the original table instead. So unbelievable tilting to have happen in 3/4b pots or otr with the nuts

It happens throughout sessions and have cost me shitton of ev by basically bricking my tables at random. Seems to be happening more often too, like at least once per session usually at the beginning and I have to close all tables and restart hoping it doesn't happen again.

Yes many times.

Its hard to justify playing here with rakeback in its current form. I have no desire to hold a balance of shitcoin.

To put it in perspective, Blast is an Ethereum Layer 2 that is offering (highly conditional) 50%+ apr on stable coins. You need to hold a 30% $ value ratio of Blast token relative to your USD to receive the max multiplier. Without getting into the complex specifics, I'm just not going to participate because you are getting APR in a free falling shitcoin that takes constant management.

Rakeback on Coin is very similar to that scenario. Just give me 33% rakeback and I will play the mass majority of my volume until games become untenable. As it is, I'll be sporadically playing 5 card PLO until I (very likely) tank my account

Not only are the games infinitely better on Global, they are giving a decent and liquid flat rakeback now so there is zero reason to play on Coin outside of 5 card

hell yeah!! **** chp & **** this site!!!

Do they not realize that flat rakeback in usdt would create better games, which in turn makes more games run, rinse repeat. Plenty of fish zero their accounts (myself included many times) and then have thousands of CHP sitting there, if that was a few hundred USDT fish would sit and games would run. It’s just completely ******ed to have the RB system as CHP, nonsensical.

Coinpoker rep, any reply? Is this something being worked on? I can't play at all today because of this. Also having other weird glitches like only 1 card showing up on the flop and betting buttons disappearing midhand

I've passed this all onto the devs, we're a small site though so unfortunately these fixes may take some time.

+1 zillion times.

The point of any random shitcoin is to make the insiders rich who got their coins for free.

The CHP price is currently fixed at 0.053651 USDT, so it can no longer fall in value at the moment. It's also only necessary to hold a small minimal amount to cover one's rake, there's no obligation to hold a large % of your bankroll in it

Hi! Can u explain whats this? If I have 1000 chp CoinPoker change it to 53.6$ when deduct my rake?

Any anyone experienced being sat out then somehow automatically being dealt back in? I selected "sit out next big blind" on all tables then when I came back I was dealt back in?

When bought through the client, it has a fixed exchange rate

Okay. And how change the chp to usdt when the client detuct the rake what is the exchange prize? This is fixed too? Or market price? Or whats the rate?

No, but I just experienced a similar problem of it posting for me UTG rather than waiting for the blinds, even though I have that option checked. It only happened on one of my tables, but it's something I'm keeping an eye on going forward.

Really enjoying the mobile app but there is an option to auto switch tables needed. Without this it's very inconvenient to play multiple tables.

I lost 3 blinds 15 bucks and all my timebank, because of this bug

Are you using Jurojin as well? If so it's a comfort feature and can be fixed in the settings.

Having played on coin poker for quite a few years I have always suspected the microstakes have been riddled with collusion.

These last month I have started playing on coin poker again from my other sites and have been spending a few days a fortnight playing tournaments and cash games.

After so many instances and hands with such high frequencies I have absolute assurity that this is happening on a large scale in the $2-$15 mtts.. 2-25nl cash games and maybe higher? These instances have occured recently as of yesterday and were occuring over a year ago.

Having sent in reportings to coin poker on many occasions who always reply back with the same form email I've decided to post on here to warn a few who wanto have a go. I didn't post about this publically because I wanted to be sure I was right.

I will say this: do you notice that towards the final stages of the bubble a bunch of small stacks will always get chipped up by the big stacks?

Have you noticed on the FT you kind of feel like all the stacks are picking on you and letting the small stacks off?

How many times have you seen a short stack rip it all in 10bb utg with say AJ and get snap called by a big stack Utg +2 or some **** with J5 or JX where they have the blocker and **** kicker to double him up?

How many times in a satty towards the end stages the BB going up lands on you? Say %80 of the time?

Keep an eye out for a short stack verse a big stack close to bubble and on FT and close to %100 of the time the short stack will always win the hands and make a few extra bigs. Eventually the short and medium stacks all catch up and they're about even in bigs and you're chipping down. Compare these players with timing tells too when they vs you compared to themselves.

Have you noticed how bad your EV is? Like you rip it all in and your getting called by some funny hands but end up loosing over and over again? How about when you're getting value on river they're finding ways not to call in certain spots at high frequencies? Compare to how you felt value betting in the same stake mtts on different poker sites? Is this because they're using card removal and sharing each other's outs to help with their EV? Same with all ins preflop you'll get two or three other players calling you so your chances go down to double up. But when the colluders go all in you won't find 2-3 ppl calling. More folding.

Also have you noticed whenever you sit someone sitting by themselves at a 4 or 7max cash game and they realise after 5 minutes you have a simple basic understanding of the game a third player will always sit to your left? Then you stay on the table and they soft play each other? Never taking more than a few bux off each other but when you're in the BB they're gunning for you. Or you flat in the SB from a button opener 3 handed and one of the colluders will squeeze at a much higher frequency. Then you leave the table and watch them verse each other? Raise fold check check etc.

Now if it's just a few players well okay that's fine but this is happening on a LARGE scale. Because it's every single final table I make or close to the bubble over a very large sample that I truly noticed all these patterns. Just last night I am on the FT and out of say 90 players there's three players on the FT who are obviously chipping each other up.

Anyway I'm going to have to request all my hand histories from support and I am going to go over every single hand and compile hundreds of suspect plays happening at a too higher frequency. Take my word for it and avoid playing microstakes on coin poker. It looks safe and the games are good when you watch the live streams with Gaz or Charlie and a bunch of others however you don't see these weird lines going on.

The good thing though is this doesn't seem to be happening in the 100nl and above cash games and the $25 plus buy in mtts. I've noticed this myself playing there's and when watching many hours of reps streaming on YouTube.

I have reported this many times to support and I always get the same response saying they're not playing from the same location blah blah. They've only played a small sample with each other but they never seem to address the particular hands in question and they don't watch a replay of the final table where it gives you the full picture and then you go Aha yes that's obvious.

Anyway hope there can be some action taken but I guess if there was they won't admit it which I understand and maybe they're not making much at the micros so we gotta play higher stakes. The $25 plus mtts seem to run like any normal mtt but as soon as you play a bunch of $2-$10 mtts and especially the KOs you'll see.

If anyone that's been a member on here 2p2 for over a few years and has never noticed this in the micros please let me know your experiences.

I'm okay with it personally I just think it's fair to let others know. I am on another site staked where most my volume is playing 100-200nl and 25 plus mtts. I just would of prefered coin poker being an Australian as I don't have to jump around hoops for withdrawals and deposits and staking arrangements.

Dunno, ive been playing here for a few years on and off at mid-higher stakes and whilst I feel like im getting fuked alot, I dont think there this sort of collusion happening, but I am playing plo/plo5 mainly. I know for a fact i've run absurdly bad in the higher stakes smaller field mtts, to things you suggest but that could be variance/bad luck. Again I dont play your stakes and dont play lower than 200plo so cant say anything for certain, I do go in spurts of run good to be followed by the most sickening downswings in quick successions, but I'm playing a high variance variant.
