[CoinPoker] - Official - Bringing the Game Back to Players
Hello Everyone,
This is the Official Thread of CoinPoker (previous thread)
I really like the new software thus far. Some notes:
- Waitlist didn't seem to work for me
- You have to re-enable auto-top up (it worked - but setting preferences did not carry over)
- It would be nice to have a more visible indicator of when your time was running down (this is one thing the WPT software does really well - the frame of the screen blinks blue when it's your action - and red when you're about to run out of time)
There are FAR more players and tables than I've ever seen - which is pretty awesome. Whether it's the 0 rake or excitement about the new software - traffic is high at the moment - which is great.
i luuuuuuv bomb pots
how do we see our rakeback?
that's what I figured but mine says I haven't accumulated any coins yet. might need a few hours to update?
The person responsible for the rake increases must have been smoking the Devil's lettuce. Enjoy March because April is going to be a totally different reality. Here is the above rake table with a column showing the insane rake increases as a percentage to further visualize the absurdity.

fuck that. leaving coinpoker if that is the case.
Yeah, I just added the "increase in rake" column off of a the chart going around in this thread of what the old and new rakes are. But there is confusion since the old rakes came from outside sources. Someone said some of these new rakes have been in place for a couple of months.
The Coin Poker rep in here is selectively dodging questions right now and doing a crap job at a time of needed clarity. Coin Poker rep, what was the rake table, let's say half way through 2025, so what was the rake table on June 30th 2025?

There is no confusion about the old numbers, they were as in the charts. Plus they had this awesome feature that you could see the current rake cap in the table info (it's based on number of players). So all of us who have played before this change recognise the old numbers.

This cannot be fully correct, as these numbers are based on an outdated info found online. For example:
- NL25 had 1.50 (6 bb) cap
- NL50 had 2.00 (only 4 bb) cap
- NL100 had 3.00 (3 bb) cap
This is a drastic increase, but ruining the software is still a much worse problem.
5 card is fun.
6 card is nuts.
6 card double board bomb pots are mentally taxing and fun af.
I love the new software, but the rake structure is really, really bad for the future of the site. You need to cultivate the player base from the bottom up and ensure folks in the micros don't just get raked into oblivion and feel like they can't win. Folks just coming to the game are not going to beat a 5%, 8-10bb cap - and nobody is going to want to keep playing and move up if they're getting invisibly destroyed at the lowest stakes.
Is there a "Wait for BB option?" I can't find it in the settings anywhere. For that matter, I can't seem to even access table settings unless I'm seated at a table, and many of the options like buying in for the max and auto top-off don't stick between tables or sessions, so I have to do it each time. It's much more difficult to find and sort tables than it was before. This is basically the New Coke of software updates. I've played tens of thousands of hands on Coin Poker and paid thousands of dollars of rake to the site. When I heard about the huge rake increase, I figured I'd play through the rake free period and then leave, but I don't think I can even make it through that. Goodbye Coin Poker.
Rake structure doesn't matter if the software is unplayable. I wanted to play more in March due to RB and new software hype, but I am going to move out instead. I have seen many sites in my life, I even remember Boss Media and crappy Action Poker, but even this one wasn't that bad.
This is actually a pure copy of an Indian site...
I received the email about the update.6 card pot limit? Okay. But why still no hi lo?It's a good market, not a niche. As for the "classic rooms", only WPN offer this game with a decent/good action, and considering that WPN rooms aren't present in a good number of countries, such as Germany. Why doesn't CoinPoker offer it? Considering that GG Poker doesn't currently offer it.If yo
I repeat myself: why not hi-lo?
You've completely changed the software, why not add this game? 6 card pot limt is fine, but no hi-lo?
It doesn't make sense.
As someone already said, the new client is a much cheaper version of GG poker.
Honestly, I expected something better, given that the old client was very good and just needed a few improvements.
Lastly, what's the point of paying only the top 10 in the freeroll at least 800 people participating? Why don't you copy the daily freerolls every 3 hours of WPN, which pay out at least 1 in 6 players gets something.
Coin_poker, can you give any clarification on this, please?

Can we still use some kind of 3rd-party programs with custom hotkeys and displaying basic information on a table like pot odds and the history of actions in the current hand?
"No form of ... use of third-party apps ... will be tolerated on CoinPoker" - do you really mean any 3rd-party tools here or just RTA / bots / screen-sharing software, and any tools that were allowed before (like Jurojin or CoinCaption) are still allowed now?
Hows the 100% rb being paid?
It is pretty bad unfortunately. I did love the old software
Pretty sad, I hoped coinpoker would challenge the market by being different but they unfortunately did the opposite.
Increasing rake and introducing butchered software, masked by one month of no rake.
Absurd.
Hey Coinpoker, the changes are great! Initially, I was quite against them, but I think everything is about adaptation... Regarding the rake, which I see many people complaining about, honestly, I don't know how to argue about it, even though it's regular and I should know about it. I don't think it's the time to complain about these things now. By the way, we're in a promotional month, but I hope you make the best decision considering the entire ecosystem.
Thank you. I'm really not a fan of a site with many animations, but as I said, everything is about adaptation, and most of the changes were for the better. I still say it's the best site in terms of speed and functionality that I've played on so far. I hope you continue doing this great work.
brand new accounts coming in saying its not the time to complain about the rake increase... o rly
can use PT4 huds or not?

What do you think about this?

hi Coin_poker,I have been using the new software and would like to share some feedback to help improve the user experience, especially for multi-tabling players:
1. Hand History Downloads: Could you implement a feature similar to GGPoker that allows users to download hand history files? This is essential for players who want to conduct post-session analysis using tools like PokerTracker 4 or Hold'em Manager 3. The current in-app hand replayer is a bit limited for deep analysis.
2. Post-Session Note-Taking: Currently, it seems I can only take notes on opponents while actively at the table. This is difficult when managing 3 or more tables simultaneously. It would be extremely helpful to have the ability to review and add player notes after the session ends (e.g., through the hand history or a separate player database).
3. Hotkeys: Please consider adding customizable hotkey support. This is a vital feature for high-volume players to manage multiple tables efficiently.
Thank you for your hard work on the platform. I look forward to seeing these improvements in future updates!

Was wondering about that too. Makes no sense at all and didnt even bother to click one of them to try out the software so far.
