[Bodog/Bovada/Ignition] Unofficial Thread

This thread is to separate the Bovada-related comments and questions from the Official Bodog Support Thread, which is there only for questions or concerns about anything Bodog-branded.

There is no official Bovada Rep at 2+2 at this time, but perhaps if discussion is effected in a civil manner, one might arrive in due course?

Thank you.

Sounds like you’re playing too many tables. No offense, but support cracking down on stalling is a GOOD thing.

... if and only if it is against the tournament rules/TOS, that users can see in the tournament rules or TOS that stalling is a violation, and they actively publicize this change in tournament rules/TOS. Also that the rules in question make a clear distinction between strategic stalling for ICM purposes and use of shot clock and time bank for legitimate tough decisions.

Arbitrarily enforcing a "rule" that doesn't actually exist is a bad thing in its own right.

Easily falls under spirit of the game, IMO.

Getting disconnects and tables stuck at 99% today.

I’d like to start off by saying I’ve been playing on ignition casino for about 7 years and overall it has been a great experience, and haven’t had any issues until about a month ago when my account was disabled for 3 days, from July 1st until July 3rd. Their reasoning behind their investigation into my account was that I was “systematically stalling before the prize portion of your tournaments”. While I was unaware this was against the rules at the time, I wasn’t actually doing it to the extrem

Good news..My account was re-enabled today and I am able to log in and was able to make a cash-out.. Bad news- unfortunately tho, I am unable to register for any tournaments or sit at any poker tables. At the top of the main lobby there's a pop-up window that states "There seems to be a problem with your account. Please contact customer support for more information". I emailed support about this and got back a response that was just copy/paste bullshit that has nothing to do with the problem at hand. They failed to acknowledge that I am unable to play on the site and ended their email with "We appreciate your time and we are happy you are back". But I am clearly NOT back as I am unable to register any tourneys. There is something wrong with my account now and I would appreciate it if it was fixed and my ignition account was back to normal. Hoping an ignition rep can help me out somehow.

We hear alot from NL players about the rampant cheating on ignition but not a lot of feedback from PLO players. Any PLO guys care to share feedback on the game integrity? I would
Imagine if cheating is present at NL it would be same at PLO???

I was wondering same thing. Then again with their rake being so high, and having 0 rakeback the idea of grinding PLO here isn't that appealing.

From what we know about the bot tendencies on ignition, is it a very common thing for them to leave the table immediately after stacking someone? I played my first session there last night after a long time and I have never seen so many hit and runs in one session, it was rampant. Of course I was suspecting maybe they do this because bots are not programmed to play deep stacked and perhaps the operators think it will help avoid detection?

Load tables direct from the lobby rather than clicking + add similar table on a table you're already playing. Always works for me and others.

this is insane - happens on all sites

this is " a normal thing " , stalling for the money bubble in MTTs

i know in cash games whatb u were saying ( seems like u were talking about both CG n MTTs - in CG this is not good / should be policed )

but in MTTs - live / online short stacks stall for the bubble - always have always will

So the last 3 hours I got blatantly cheated at Bovada Poker. I was playing 20$+1$ DoN Sng and the collusion against me was OBVIOUS. I got cheated out of 150$ Aprox.

What would be my best shot at getting the refund, getting someone to take a look. I obviously asked for the HH and gave them some of the SNG I played. In this kind of things the collusion is obvious and I think it is easy to prove.

For now I will wait for their response.

i uh sometimes go into the uh high stakes tournament games and watch the players play like the view table biggest chip stack

Hi,

My ignition has been hacked on begining of august... I don t know how but some has changed my profile information. As soon as i couldn t connect to the soft anymore(paswword unvalid) i did try to reset but i was not able to receive the email for

So i did contact the support but it was impossible for them to find me and then it was the begining of "ping pong battle" between the live chat and the email support....

After many tries i finally found a competent agent able to find back my acount but my balance was over... Since i did get back my account but the support said to me that all the transactions were clean(obv not)

Does anyone with the same story? Anyone can help?

Thanks

Hey guys,

How is the cheating situation on Ignition as of late? Still the same or has there been any improvement?

Anyone else disconnect often from ignition? Any tips to prevent it? My internet is working fine for everything else.

I just closed my Bovada account because of this. I was in a hold’em hand with top set on the turn and was in for over $450 when I was disconnected. I was back within 20-25 seconds and my hand was folded when I only had $20 left to call an all-in reraise.

Chat said there were no disconnections on their end so they wouldn’t do anything for me. **** that with as much money as I’ve deposited on their site. Back to ACR I guess. Btw I kept getting disconnected from chat and couldn’t connect with the community forums as well. Obviously a problem on their end.

Everyone is getting disconnected in my games it seems. Its happened to me 3 or 4 times as well. I reseats and makes me wait for the big blind.

bro when are they gonna put chat or chat boxes back in

Is the Bovada app down for anyone

When I open the app on the desktop it immediately minimizes and closes it self. Been happening for last two days. Did a restart of the comp and re-downloaded the software. No luck. Any advice?
