Does anyone have any experience good or bad using Starlink with US poker sites? It would probably only work with a static IP address on a business plan.

ay bro i shortstack the 10/20 and 25/50 lately one good thing about it is it makes me worry less about RTA and especially collusion which we all know poker players are dirty as ****. i full stack 5/10 tho. shortstacking 1/2 or 2/5 is fkn hilarious lol

So you're basically buying in an amount where you cover the recreational or weaker player, yet not allowing regs to cover you so you can minimize your losses. I can understand if recs are buying in short, but regs intentionally doing it at any stakes is imo unethical.

I have never bought in short to a cash game, but I pretty strongly disagree that it is unethical. A pathetic look for a supposed professional, sure, but not unethical.

u know a guy on here just got RTA banned last month and wsop didnt even send out any refunds? I was at like 15 final tables with him at minimum. a couple years ago global had a scandal where THREE people were playing multple tables including high stakes from the same house in florida. i dont even use a hud or have ever shared notes with any other regs none of that **** i just play the game. u gotta protect ur neck out here and its fun to play 20-30bb anyway its not my fault everyone sucks against it. if either of you dorks want heads up 1k or 2k ill be here. we can play 500bb deep if you like

There's nothing "unethical" about a reg buying in short (I HATE 20bb min stacks). You're the same type who claim changing seats online for any reason is unethical when every pro in the world does it in live games.

Of course I am a chronic slow roller. That may be unethical but it's legal and fun 😃

I’m at 0, I assume whatever we earned in December we don’t get, because it starts over in January. So we won’t see any point till February. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

You do get your December tier credits, you just don't see them anywhere. I was a few thousand credits short of Diamond Elite heading into December, but I earned Diamond Elite for 2025 through my December play. It really only matters if you were on the cusp of getting to a new status level at the end of the year.

sick new promo . my only problem with this is i just wish the rake was a little bit higher and the structures of these things werent so long and grindy. There is no reason a sitngo should ever last longer than i would in bed with one of my favorite onlyfans models. Ideally a format comes around where jamming every hand dark is the most optimal strategy. I think that would be great for the already very strong ecosystem we have here on WSOP MI NJ NV

So does anyone know any ways to fix this verifying location failure? I'm literally booted off constantly during sessions, its pretty ridiculous and unacceptable. Happens both on phone and desktop, and its luck of the draw on how fast it lets me relog and verify me without failure. Sometimes one attempt and im back on immediately, (which still closes my cash game tables, and its still really bad when short or deep in tournaments) other times its literally 10 minutes of logging in before im back on, which is crazy. I'm new to the site and cannot believe people deal with this.

It happens on both my phone and desktop as I said but its also whether im on wifi on my phone or just using 5G, neither one matters once it fails it continues to fail until it just doesnt for some random amount of time.

That said, blast tournaments are pretty good value, even with their fast structure. Especially with the leaderboard.

Not sure about these $100 ones though. You need like $10k to play right in those ones. Also, as far as I can tell, there's no leaderboard for them. What's the incentive to play them? Is the $1m guaranteed to hit or something?

Gonna jinx myself for posting this, but this was my first ever 25x blast tournament, and I won it for 50 leaderboard points!

Pretty crazy to maybe have a $90 score in a $2 three person super-turbo.

the incentive is theyre pretty fun, soft sometimes, and just the dream of binking 800k that would 10x the roll of a lot of players on here , if the miracle somehow happens your future ev skyrockets.

the rake feels super unbeatable tho unless they add a nice leaderboard. i havent done the excact math but its close to 8.2% before RB, assuming all blasts are raked the same. think they -ev for everyone atm could b wrong

Just seems like all those incentives are there for the $50 ones and you get a nice leaderboard on the $50s

It's unfortunate that some posters are justifying the rake % of these games because they don't know better. You should look at achievable cevs for ROW ultras/reg speeds, and the rake %'s of those games. Eventually American games might not be so soft...and we will still be paying more than everyone else.

It will be gross when stars and pp introduce regspeed 100's+ at that rake.

When I run WSOP.com in Nevada it works great for me UNTIL I turn on Google Chrome to surf on another screen - then wsop gets super laggy and multiple tables becomes timeout impossible to navigate with a 10-20 second delay between mouse click and action executing in the app.

I deleted all of my Chrome extensions and cleared the cache but to no avail.

Any suggestions? (besides the obvious "don't surf whilst playing" - which works - the second I close Chrome, the wsop site functions perfectly with no reboot).
