I think you need to close all your tables that you've been playing on a minute or so prior to the race finishing up as well, or it doesn't count them, nor does it bring them over to the next day, so you just lose all those points.

I wonder how many spots and dollars I just lost out on due to this, should have only tested it on one table instead of all my tables. Would have finished top3 easily. Rough.

I suspect the "Cash Leaderboard Reward" (or "Golden Drops", whatever they call it) is not as random as it appears. At the 25/50 stake you get to pick 1 of 9 cards, with values from $5 to $25. The last 9 I've opened I've gotten $5, the lowest payout, despite only 2 of the 9 cards having $5 on it. So I've hit that 22% shot 9 times in a row. Either I'm just really unlucky or the amounts shown are bullshit

Yeah, I'm running like crap on the Golden Drops too. Probably get the lowest amount 2/3 of the time. I'm quite certain it's not random and is designed to get you excited, but the actual EV is much less than the apparent EV if it were actually random.

There's so much wrong with the Chico Network, but the games are so soft it still gets a lot of my business.

I guess I'm curious if the amount you play actually does matter. the way it presents itself all of the Top 40 get the same prize but I kinda wonder if the top places on the leaderboard get more. I have noticed that sometimes the amounts change - sometimes the max is $50 (not that I ever get it lol) but I'm not really clear on why

The rakeback seems very much not worth putting excessive hours in. It's equating to less than 10% for me.

I've had the max amount be $100, and I actually got it once. I do think the amounts go up the higher you are on the leaderboard, but it's extremely opaque. They've changed the bonus/ rakeback system virtually every month since I started on the site. I think the site would do well to just stick to a simple system.

I haven't played on Chico for a bit...I thought they implemented some sort of RB if you rake X amount each week....is this no longer a thing? I don't see any opt in options

They had straight rakeback for a while, then they added leaderboards, but they're both gone now. Instead they do a lottery-type system where you get a variable cash prize based on how much you play. It's very opaque and unclear what % RB you're ultimately getting.
