Besides collusion, how secure is this app? Anyone heard any stories?

You have to find an agent and go through him (someone verified)..

im waiting

ive been playing on pppoker on my phone and desktop with a reputable agent/club for the past 5-6 years, i found only this one club that is reputable, withdrawls are done straight back to you twice a day, the number of other club agents that offer unrealistic bonuses and stuff disappear on you when you try to make a withdrawl even when you meet their terms in hopes that you lose the money is crazy.

Any recommendations for good active clubs for 4c PLO for Aussies? Looking for around 50plo and want action/games running in our timezone.

Cheers

Also does anyone know if there’s a desktop version I can play on?

Yes, there is. You can download it on their official web site.

It's a shame this thread is the same as with Suprema.
Focusing the discussion on a single agent damages the reputation of the entire PPPoker community. Hundreds of people develop software, fight fraudsters, and organize tournaments and cash games, yet on forums like 2+2 only a few negative experiences with unscrupulous agents get talked about.

For example, a major race series is currently running in the NUTS —PRIME TIME, with huge prizes, and many players don't even know about it.

Does somebody else here experience issues with GPS when playing from a computer? I can't play from my desktop.
Any advice will be welcomed.

Try reinstalling the client or downloading a fresh installer—this alone fixes it for some people. Also, when the app prompts you for location access, try toggling Windows location services off and then back on; occasionally that forces PPPoker to re-detect your location properly.

Make sure you’re not running a VPN or proxy. Many clubs/unions don’t allow it anyway, and PPPoker will often block you if it detects one.

GPS/location issues seem to be more common on Mac, but on Windows/Linux you should still confirm that system location services are enabled and that PPPoker has permission to use them.

If you’re using the official PPPoker PC client but still have LDPlayer/BlueStacks (for PokerBros or anything else) open in the background, close the emulators completely—PPPoker sometimes interprets them as location spoofing tools.

If none of the above works, double-check your date/time settings and region. Set the timezone to automatic and make sure your system region matches your actual location.

Mostly 5 card PLO on PP. Very little 4 card action any more.

I have just updated the PPPoker software on my windows PC. My computer has crashed soon after I have started playing. (every time). To be fair, I had some crashing going on but it seems consistent since the update. I play in Australia. Is anyone else having issues?
Thanks

Try reinstalling. If the problem persists, maybe the PC hardware needs an upgrade ?

Is PPP unplayable for anyone else on PC since the forced update?

At times it's clicking the wrong buttons, sometimes I'll have to click many times for an action to go through. It seems like it's using way more resources so laptop is very choppy. Every time you want to add or close out a table it completely resizes and moves the tables from where you had placed them.

Maybe they're purposely trying to nuke the PC experience to force everyone onto mobile? I don't see how anyone can manage on PC.

Definitely having issues as well. The motors in my laptop start whirring harder as soon as I start playing. Within 3 hands, the laptop has frozen and needs restarting by holding down the on/off button for 10 seconds.

Can't think of a motive to force evryone onto phones. A friend has reported glitches as well.

Still trying to wrap my head around PPP completely nuking their software and killing off most games. Was there ever any explanation as to why they didn't just switch back to the previous software?

Never had a single glitch. The only slightly annoying thing is the tables being stuck together, without being able to detach them.

PPPoker is now available on Steam.

The sticky immovable tables are finally fixed. You can move around your tables as you see fit, during heavy multi tabling sessions.

There are also some VIP card awards for steam users.

Well kinda. There are still annoying quirks. I can't move PPPoker client to 2nd monitor, it has to stay on the main monitor. I can't minimize the client. If I click on 1 table then it brings every single table you have open + the client to the foreground (making it more difficult to have open with other clients). But yes, it's an upgrade over the previous client that barely worked.
