Strange Dreams
I often have strange and/or vivid dreams. I just woke up from one and thought this would be a fun thread where people could share unusual dreams they just had.
Last night, I was cruising around Las Vegas with JayZ in a red pickup truck. We went to get gas and another car pulled up and started clowning on him.
Bo Jackson and a group of kids got out of the car and started beating him up so I hopped in the truck and took off. Sorry JayZ.
Then I ended up back at the hotel where I slapped on some inline skates and found a super smooth piece of sidewalk to skate on. I was going so fast, some spectators started watching and cheering me on. It was so smooth, I had to go tell me roommate, Cheech Marin, about it. He also slapped on some skates and we raced on the sidewalk. I won but it was closer than it should have been.
Then my alarm went off.
No more grape kool-aid before bed.
I used to have a recurring dream where Olympic gold medalist Mark Spitz would appear in my closet. I could even smell the chlorine from the pool afterwards. It was very unnerving.
Most dreams are weird due to the amygdala's main role in dreaming, which is the worry center of the brain.

I usually dream Tom Cruise is in my closet.
But then he comes out
The amygdala also packs what you think of during the day / recent times into your dream almost randomly.
So if you're thinking a lot of an ex-gf for example... decent shot she may show up in a dream.
I’ll try thinking of you tonight before bed (no creeper) and see if I have a Superbad dream.
Last night, I was a black barber complaining to my patrons about how all white people want the same haircut and how difficult it is to cut their hair. All the while, I was giving my patrons the same haircut of just buzzing it down to nothing.
This one wasn’t too strange. Oh, I should mention that whenever I post a dream in here, it’s immediately after I wake up so if there are typos or it’s a bit incoherent, that’s why.
I took chantix to quit smoking and I miss the crazy ass, vivid dreams. My annual is coming up, maybe I'll see if he can put me on some other dreamy drug just for the hell of it.
Strangest (and most vivid) dreams for me come after taking a break from the weed. Couple of weeks ago I had a touch of the 'Rona (Thanks Lone Butte players), went a few days without my crutch. Never had a fever so I can't blame fever dreams, but man the dreams were wild!

are you suggesting spitz was more of a limbic athlete?
I was working for Einstein as a researcher. He was a professor and wanted me to come up with a list of possible ways to address the world’s energy situation. I wrote about a dozen things down and ultimately settled on trying to capture energy from the heat given off by trees as they grow. But then a competitor came in and stole the idea. Einstein was mad, then I woke up.
Was the competitor Edison? Cuz that ****ing bitch did nothing but steal other people’s ideas.
Start here, read the next few entries...
In my defense, I read these in a compilation a few years after they were published (likely on a road trip to DC for the Bicentennial)
I always have dreams about VERY FILTHY bathrooms...
LOL when I first opened this thread I thought of the same exact scene.
Btw guys Season 16 of Always Sunny in Philadelphia is awesome, perhaps their best yet if you could even say that. And episode 4 has chess in it! (and it's epicly hilarious)
I wrote a partial spec script for the show back when I made a half-ass attempt at being a screenwriter. It featured them opening a daycare in the bar basement so Charlie can babysit the kids while the stressed out moms get sloshed.
That's a great idea, wanna team up and re-hash it!? I'll be the Ben Affleck to your Matt Damon!
