For the most part, i eat a species appropriate diet, and simply stop eating when im not hungry anymore. Works very well.
If i'd want to lose more weight, i'd stop eating fruits and nuts, and if i'd want to gain weight, i'd add more eggs and butter.

What fish like you fall for is they don't list his race times and where he raced. There are easy marathons and there are difficult marathons (I'll leave it up to you to figure out why 26.2 miles outdoor at one location can be more challenging than 26.2 miles outdoor at another location).
I'd have to see 3 marathons of similar difficulty with roughly the same finishing times. Then if homeboy shaves 28 minutes a year later off his next marathon that is of similar difficulty and weather conditions as the other 3, then I'd say he might have taken 28 minutes of his marathon. I have meaningful experience with eating 3000-5000 calories of nothing but raw vegetables and fruits daily for over 2 years straight. I can eat 19 pounds of raw and cooked broccoli daily for 2 weeks, junior.
