Bought a storage locker and there were two autographed cymbals inside.

One we have determined is signed by the band Thin

You have to have it clean. I usually bring a broom and sweep it out completely. You usually pay a cleaning deposit of $100-150 and you get it back once they check and see it’s cleaned out.

Some will pay the cleaning deposit then not bother cleaning it out and lose their deposit. Maybe if it’s filled with mattresses or other heavy stuff that needs to go to the dump. But then you get blackballed from future auctions so it’s not just the deposit you miss out on but future sales, too.

Do places ban you if you don't clean it out? Seems totally worth it to just loot the unit and leave it for them to take care of the cleanup especially at that price.

Have some of you never seen Storage Wars? lol

No.

No.

I just looked it up. It's on the A&E network. I don't think I've ever watched anything on that network.

I was aware it was on. Just never watched it.

I haven't watched it in years, but it was pretty popular maybe 8 years ago or longer, probably watch before season 10 if you just want to check out a few episodes, you have to have the ones with Dave, YUUUP! lol

60 days in was good for a while, The First 48.

Yeah, they ban you from future sales. But once I make the decision that a particular sale will be my last, I just may do that and take the ban.

The First 48 is a solid show

similar to live streaming scratch-off lottery or the unboxing of collector cards
