first swinger party
What should I expect from a party such as this? We do not swing, we are going to hang out with her friend and drink, but what do i need to know? I had my first marriage end because we had 3ways with my ex's best friend and my girl now has done the girl-girl thing before. I feel out of my element, gotta go there in t minus 3 hours. Please advise.

Once went to this swinger club called red rooster in vegas many years ago. Ended up going home with this older couple. Dude was fat but wife was decent so I went for it! The sex was kinda awkward but they had a nice hot tub and gave me snacks.

Have been to swingers clubs and resorts, and had fun no matter what, if you're participating or not.
When I was first divorced I got into the nonmonogany lifestyle and hooked up with a girlfriend who was okay with it, so we experimented for about a year. It was truly eye opening towards conventional ideas of sex and relationships.
Ended up becoming a bull for hotwives for a bit, and 100% would recommend. Most of the older wives take very good care of their bodies and their husbands just like to watch them have fun or hear about it afterwards. One guy at the resort was a former Marine and just loved to watch and video tape his wife having sex. He didn't even need to hook up with the partner. A lot of the husbands didn't or were okay with it not happening as long as their wives had a good time.
Swingers are usually older established couples who just want some spice and don't want to break up, but there's a healthy crop of young people who like variety as well. They just usually don't have the emotional maturity to deal with it after the fact. Guys often suggest it thinking they will get laid no problem, but it's the women who have their pick of the litter instantly. Had a couple where they turned "poly" and it took the guy six months to get laid, meanwhile his girlfriend was getting laid four times a week with a quick Tinder profile. All it leads to is resentment and jealousy unless you have the bandwidth to handle it.
Work acquaintance was flirty with a co-worker years ago and proposed an open relationship with his wife so he could bang the co-worker guilt free and wife agreed. He told flirty co-worker about it and she stopped being flirty meanwhile wife started having the time of her life. His super plan spectacularly backfired.
Needless to say they were divorced within a year. Fortunately, no kids.
Spend any amount of time on any of the relationship subreddits, or really, use your common sense, and realize that an open relationship is going to go bad for the man 95% of the time.
