somehow unsurprising the texas klobásník has morphed into some sort of deep-fried hot dog within a long john bun
buc-ees probably sells them with bijan mustard icing

I don't think any places in tx are selling kolaches deep fried...yet

Had this exact same discussion with Da_Nit back in July in the sandwich thread. Steve is correct.

There was an authentic Czech bakery in Snook TX and I was tasked to grab breakfast for the office anytime I passed thru there on my early morning deliveries.

Those guys are great. Went to the theatre for my Dad's birthday a couple of weeks ago, and unfortunately realised too late that we were literally a couple of minutes walk from them, but had already booked somewhere else to eat.

I got a new Christmas carbon steel griddle so I made Philly Cheesesteaks from leftover prime rib with homemade rolls.

What, no Whiz?

I actually put some sliced Gouda on. But need a jar of whiz for sure.

Is that the Made-in pan I keep seeing advertised everywhere? If not who makes it?

How do you like it?

Yes Sir, the Made In.

Wife got it for me with a bunch of accessories.

Just did one seasoning before using, but thought it performed really well. Surface is much smoother than my Lodge carbon steel griddle.

I've been eating Goat for three days straight... I am in need of a Chicken or something!

Mom needed a blender replacement after 40 years. Found an NOS replacement on eBay.

This is a good son.

Yep! What a gift!

I can still remember when my dad got my mom an older model (it only had three speeds--low, medium, and high) than that one for Christmas. That must be where I inherited my thoughtfulness. She was the envy of all their friends--for a year or two.

[ETA: Not even sure it was three speeds. May have only been High & Low.]

I don't know how anyone else used theirs, but I'm willing to bet that, over the years, ours cranked out three times as many chocolate milk shakes as all other products combined. I loved to hear that thing running!
