2345 single draw

2345 single draw

Hi all,

20/40 mix with a $400 cap. Blinds are 5/10/20. No limit single draw, non-nit v opens in early position to $60, two players flat, and we are bb with 2345r. Flat or squeeze?

The straight potential handicaps our hand a little but this still seems like a good draw.

Thanks,
DT

Both options have merit (squeeze size is all in, I assume that's the only / obvious choice). The more I think I can actually get them all to fold, the more merit jamming has. Really great job putting the details in your post this time!

I think I prefer jam, especially vs non-nit opener.

Flatting isn't super attractive since if we catch a 9 or t perfect we might be a little lost. I'm pretty rusty at sd though, catching a t or j seems tricky.

With the cap, I think allin is much better than calling or raising less than allin. If instead there were no caps and stacks were 1000+ deep, then I would just call and try to make a strong enough hand to play for stacks (a 7 or 8). And often check-call (bluff catch) if I make a 9 or T.
