badacey hand 2456
Hi all,
We are playing 20/40 limit mix, badacey round, blinds 10/20, and we are utg with 2456K with 246r, we open to $40, sb flats and bb 3! to $60, we 4! to $80 sb flats and bb caps it. We both call.
($300) 2,1,1. We don't improve (Q). X,bb $20 we both flat.
($360) 1,pat,1. We make an 8 low, no badugi. X,$40, we flat, sb folds.
($440) Pat, we break and draw 1 as I doubt we are winning with just our 8 low. We draw an As giving us a 6/6 (A2456).
BB bets $40, we raise to $80, he 3! to $120 and we just flat.
Thanks,
DT

By 4 betting pre and then flatting after first draw, you're turning over your hand a bit/ splitting your range. It's obvious you don't have a strong badugi at this point.
I'm never keeping the 8 after the 2nd draw. I know you didn't but the wording makes it sound like it was a consideration to you. You're very rarely even winning half there should you keep it. 246r is a terrible 3 card for the action and as is an 8 low.
River seems fine against most players in this game.
You missed some good games by not playing Tuesday and Wednesday this week!
